This kind of human being should not be the leader of even an estate. So if by some stroke of bad luck he had won, that is how he would have covered up crimes like these?

Anyway I am no longer shocked at the kinds of things he stands for. I will not be shocked if it is revealed one day that part of the rise to some form of affluence was also by been involved in illicit activities like these.
Madman anthem!!!! People like you are the best reason why international organizations keep projecting high ILLITERACY in Nigeria. Myopic people Everywhere.

What he is actually saying is that those involved in or caught dealing in illegal or fake drugs should be decisively dealt with within the confines of the law. Only the shops belonging to those culprits should be marked for closure, rather than closing the entire market and punishing innocent people who are conducting legitimate business.

Most especially in this economy, it will negatively impact the livelihoods of others doing lawful business in the same market.

In summary, close down the shops of those caught in illegal drug activities and deal with them, but do not shut down the entire market. It’s like punishing innocent people for a crime they know nothing about🙂
wrong place, wrong timing

Igbos are most notorious for fake drugs and anything fake.

even if what they are producing in that market are killing people then u should keep it open

People should keep dieing so Igbos can b making their money?

Is that not what u are saying?

Even if 500 people are dieing from the fake products of that market daily, the government should allow people to keep dieing so Igbos can b making money

No wonder that Thai police called u people d scum of the earth

Imagine mentality
An average Igbo is a criminal so is not hard to support crime. Let the market be totally shut down and nafdac carried proper investigation cos other still selling might also have imported fake drugs too. Obi has already shown his character since 2023 after the election, so am not surprised about is foolishness and crime support from his zone.

“One unequivocally condemns such illicit drug trading activities and urges the government to take all necessary measures to eradicate the sale of fake items—especially drugs—and legally prosecute the perpetrators for the health and safety of society,” he stated.

The problem with vultures of babablus is that their brains have been vandalized. They can never understand simple English.

Obi is simply saying that sections of markets not connected to fake drug sales or fake products should not be closed.

Here in Aba, the entire Ekumi plaza have been sealed for a week. There are people who sell other products like weavon, clothes, electronics, phones etc in same plaza. They have been denied their daily income for a week and still counting.
Those people can also be accomplish and even had some bought cheap and sell outside to make profit. Nafdac need to carry thorough investigation and by that, closing the entire market is justifiable. Obi is a fool
