IjeBos:Yes Foxnews is legacy media. Yes, you are indeed dummer than Basilico thinks. ![]() Do you know the original screenshot is from your CNBC link? And that if I was to scroll through your Foxnews link I'd see the same thing I'm showing to you? Do you know how stupid you have to be not to even know when you don't know what you are talking about? Like, how dumb can you really be? Military aid is a SUBSET of Security Assistance. Do you actually know what that means or do you need urgent medical attention? The Security Assistance covers economic, defense and military support. This is another disinfectant and bleach argument. Stop and actually think before typing. Do you know why your legacy media would rather call it a military aid vs security assistance? Like I said, from defending Hunter to proving you are incapable of layered reading. You're bummy.

Android17:Here. You're spinning so hard, you seem to be having a hard time remembering your bullshit. Android17:<<< After furiously googling "what is a Plaintiff and a Defendant for dummies">>>> Android17:You're welcome, I'm glad I could make you smarter on this. People usually get smarter after talking to me. Unfortunately for you you still sound like you have a 5th grade understanding of this. I guess better than not having any understanding as you previously demonstrated. In the future, you might want to do your research first so you won't sound as dumb as you have the last few pages. |

Android17:Everyone's understanding is wrong except the person who just learned the word "security assistance" 1 hour ago? You should see a psychologist for that narcissism you have going on there. |

Is it true that Elon Musk wanted “60 Minutes” reporters arrested for reporting on the probe of USAID 🤔 |

IjeBos:Weak attempt to deflect again. You started from defending Hunter, you've now settled for making stuff up and arguing with yourself lol. Just follow the foolish argument you're trying to make. I said all charges are petitions. You brought the plea agreement on your own and then turned around to say I called plea agreements petitions. What do you think paragraphs are for when replying people? You tried to quote my post but didn't post it well. So I used a '.' to quote your post. That's why I just typed "they are all petitions. . ." in the first paragraph It was responding to my ". . .what Smirnov was charged with. . ." |

IjeBos:Again, deflection. ![]() You're not fooling anyone. To think this all started from trying to defend Hunter. Hahaha. He didn't think I'll dismiss Foxnews. ![]() Next time stop arguing nonsense. At least, we know you don't want to touch your impeachment argument anymore. Run along now. |

IjeBos:Trump already had evidence Biden forced the Ukrainian general prosecutor out for investigating Burisma. Why was he sending them aid when Hunter was still being paid by Burisma. Furthermore during impeachment, the FBI already had the laptop from hell and knew it was authentic. FBI didn't interject. They would have blown the impeachment apart had they revealed the corruption of the Biden |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by Android17: 5:32am On Feb 18, 2025 |
basilico:He doesn't care about facts but I can play his game. I still have posers to trap him in any argument he deflects to. The new one he is trying to research is why the media needed to call the aid a military one? ![]() Obviously he wants to claim Trump's impeachment was justified even though I'm trying to show how they impeached Trump for something Biden did. Even though they knew the laptop was real. That's how evil these people are. |

What’s brand of mental illness is this? Over to you guys defenders of the lying govt Find a way to twist it and tell us what they actually meant to say. They’re not even on the same page. Confused fools As its influence within the federal government grows daily, one question routinely emerges about the Department of Government Efficiency: Who is in charge?
|
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by basilico: 5:52am On Feb 18, 2025 |
DOGE Monday reveal. Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process). In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to @USTreasury for the great work. They intentionally left 4.7 Trillion untraceable. This is creative accounting. Enable loopholes on the system, there might be no fraud yet but it leaves room for diverting funds one day in the future. $4.7 Trillion is last year's total taxes collected by IRS. Why didn't IRS auditors discover this? If there was fraud, why has FBI not arrested anyone? |

I’m ALL for finding waste and corruption and revamping things after a thoughtful and intelligent examination. I would be fine with cutting or reducing programs that I feel are important if there was justification for it. But this Willy-nilly slash and burn thoughtless destruction of jobs and entire programs is crazy. And those that do not see or understand the danger are either so brainwashed they can’t see it or too deeply entrenched to admit they may have made a mistake here and this needs to be stopped, or are just so full of bitterness and hatred that they will cut off their nose to spite their face as long as who ever they hate is hurting too. I don’t get people who are still cheering and saying THIS is what they voted for. I don’t get it. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by basilico: 6:44am On Feb 18, 2025 |
PDPGuy:It's democrats who are whining the most. Granted a lot of critical projects have been put on hold. Those who swindled money or poured it into questionable projects cannot be allowed to stay on the job while the audit is going on. It does not seem to matter to you that IRS is after every dollar in the tax returns yet govt can't account for what they are doing with a large chunk of money it spends. I would say this happens to most world governments not only in MAGA country. DOGE is recommending what needs to be slashed , it's not the one that's actually doing the slashing. Bill Clinton , Obama and Biden have called for audits to prevent wastage. Obama
We can’t sustain a system that bleeds billions of taxpayer dollars that have outlived their usefulness or exists solely for the power of politicians, lobbyists, or interest groups,” Obama states at the start of the footage. Biden, who was then VP, follows by saying Americans are “entitled to accountability to make sure we’re using the dollars for what we said it was for. “We are going to go through our federal budget…line-by-line, eliminating these programs we don’t need and ensuring that those we do need to operate in a sensible, cost-effective way,” Obama says in the succeeding clip. In another part of the video, Obama discusses eliminating unnecessary spending while Biden talks about his and Obama’s efforts to instill an entirely new culture that every succeeding administration will hopefully follow. Bill Clinton also slashed 380000 federal jobs. Video here.
KanekoaTheGreat @KanekoaTheGreat In the 1990s, President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore took on a challenge that few politicians dared to confront: cutting the size of the federal government. Facing a ballooning deficit and mounting inefficiencies, Clinton announced an ambitious plan to slash wasteful spending, shrink bureaucracy, and rein in government overreach. He signed an executive order eliminating 100,000 federal jobs, a 12% cut in administrative costs, and the consolidation or termination of hundreds of outdated programs. One of his biggest warnings? If wasteful spending wasn’t controlled, the federal deficit would soar to $650 billion per year by the early 2000s, with a growing share of tax dollars going toward interest payments on debt instead of public investment. Fast forward to today. In 2024, the federal deficit stands at $1.83 trillion—nearly triple Clinton’s worst-case scenario. Interest on the debt alone has reached $880 billion, consuming an ever-larger portion of the national budget. Clinton’s reforms worked during his presidency. The federal workforce shrank by 380,000 federal jobs—a 16% decrease. Programs were streamlined, waste was reduced, and deficits were brought under control. Yet, decades later—after the War on Terror, the 2008 financial crisis, and COVID-19—government spending has soared once again, bureaucracy has expanded, and the national debt has reached historic highs. Now, history is repeating itself. President Trump has appointed Elon Musk, widely regarded as the world's most successful CEO and technologist, to lead efforts to streamline the government and restore fiscal responsibility. For the sake of America, I hope the Democratic Party and the corporate media can set aside their irrational opposition and support DOGE, just as they once backed Bill Clinton and Al Gore. It's hypocritical of democrats complaining now , when Trump is doing exactly what they had promised to do. Obama set the stage for a perpetually ballooning fiscal deficit with spending on expanded medical care, food stamps , climate change pet projects, forever wars etc while Biden topped it up with massive student loan bailouts and more climate change nonsense. |

The longstanding federal holiday to celebrate President George Washington’s birthday turned into a day of protests Monday. In dozens of cities around the country, Americans unhappy with President Donald Trump’s policies and political appointments staged a “Not My Presidents Day” to call for government accountability.

PDPGuy:This is why I keep calling them pampered children. They simply have been lived in a working society for so long that they take it for granted and assume society just works. As a Nigerian I know the reality of polio As a Nigerian I know the reality of poor regulation As a Nigerian I know the reality of a cabinet full of incompetent yes men And as a Nigerian who has experienced these things I can tell how it will end. These spoiled rich kids are going to have to have a full bout with reality before they learn that the good life and comfort they enjoy is not because they are special, but because they built up systems over decades. |

PDPGuy:The bit in bold is the main reason. If you consider the real reason why America doesn’t have the level of infrastructure and amenities that other 1st world countries have (racism), it will make sense to you why people vote against themselves. It’s okay as long as the group of people they hate so much will get punished in the process. Historically White people vote against all kinds of social amenities because there’s a chance it will benefit black people. Same sentiments can be found in all groups today even black folks when it comes to general wellbeing. Imagine supporting the destruction of everything and everyone (maybe even if it doesn’t affect you directly, it affects someone you know) but you’re okay with it. Let them all suffer as long as those (insert group) get to be punished. |

PDPGuy:Like I have said, it's all a sham. Follow the money. If they were intent on cutting waste, they would have started at the Pentagon. They don't have the balls to go after the Military Industrial Complex where toilet seats are being sold at $10k a piece, but want to convince us the wastage at USAID is what the US needs to get back on it's feet. There is a reported $125bn (estimated) wastage, but they are not starting there first. They want to continue keeping 800 military bases over the world but remove entire agencies that support families. The SHEEP will shout TDS and pretend like they are making sense. They will cut their noses to spite their faces and find stupid reasons to explain why Trump has just said he's above the law. It's not a plan to curtail wastage. It's a sham to make more money, and consolidate power. |

I think if I dig deep enough, I can find skills to survive even the worst possible outcomes of this mad man and his administration. Them? Probably not so much. But they won’t know until it’s too late for them. Look at innocent children in Texas fighting measles outbreak that they didn’t bargain for. People in Kansas fighting TB outbreak. Flu numbers alarming red all over. But you have grown-ups who have survived because someone loved them enough to get them vaccinated and they are on the internet spreading vaccine misinformation. Talking crap about pasteurization of milk. Two major things that can lead to increase in the spread of communicable diseases like measles, the flu and TB. And what do you know? Measles, TB and the flu are being recorded in unprecedented numbers this season. Who would’ve thunk it? GloriousGbola: |
