🇳🇬 Gasperini: “Ademola Lookman is one of the worst penalty takers I’ve ever seen”. “He wanted to take the penalty after scoring a goal, he took the ball despite Retegui and De Keteleare available to take it… I didn’t like what Lookman did”. |

Samueltemi337:When you’re not the designated penalty taker, don’t pick the ball. But, a coach shouldn’t publicly condemn his own players in the public |

charlesemeka85:Who remembers the failed panenka while he was in Fulham? But the coach should chill now, even Messi dey lose penalty. Any player can lose à penalty. That said, I remember à game where the designated pk taker gave the ball to another player and the coach wasn't happy with the on field decision. |

charlesemeka85:Lookman should move on if possible leave the club, that’s how these folks are, one error they forget all the good you’ve done in the past. All his teammates go Dey beef am now and it can now be from one tale to another. One more error and he will be finally roasted, that’s how osihmen troubles started in Napoli. If Lookman should react now he will termed as ungrateful, phew. |

Congrats to Lookman on his goal scoring sad he got eliminated along with his team. Should keep his chin up more opportunities to win the big ears will surely arise. To be very candid I'm shocked by Gasperini's public criticism of Lookman. Which manager publicly downgrades his player one of his best for that matter? Lookman has been one of Atalanta's best performers over the past 2-3 years and didn't deserve that dressing down . Lookman was within his rights to want to take the penalty after scoring but for the coach to frame the narrative like Ademola is some entitled selfish brat is not on. If the manager was really that bothered then the seclusion of the dressing room is where to address such matters. |

Lookman please don’t allow Nigerians or the devil to allow you to revolt against your club and demarket yourself . As a professional, you shouldn’t be picking the ball when you’re not the designated penalty taker and although I don’t agree with your coach public outrage but you should resolve it internally. The coach might had said that to reduce pressure on him |

chrisooblog:TBH, I'm not too surprised by the coach's comment... with the way he subs Lookman out during crucial games, its clear he doesn't rate him that highly. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Goke7: 1:16pm On Feb 19, 2025 |
Bannedlargejr:You’re very funny 🤣 does he have to revolt against a club that no longer rate him but instead using his past to haunt him down? So if the player wants out before he’s finally disgraced or sent to train with the academy he should sit down there all in the name of trying not to demarket himself. You have no clue on the mental damage this can do to a player just recovering from injury and you trying to make an excuse for the coach is ridiculous. |
