President Bola Tinubu has approved the relocation of 29 correctional centres from urban areas across the country.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this known on Friday during the unveiling of some operational vehicles for the Nigerian Correctional Service.

The target is Ikoyi prison, but it has to be made to look like it is a nationwide thing.

The value of that land no be small thing.

Anyway, the prison is no longer suitable for the location.

Now they use our government tax payers money to build prisons instead of using that money for the welfare of free law abiding Nigerians that live like prisoners in their own country lacking basics like food,water,housing school for kids that would have reduced crime rate in the first place I wonder the kind of weed our leaders in Nigeria smoke that delude them from reality undecided
