Good Morning, when one gets approved and ready for delivery, do you have to contact DHL to go and pick up from the Lagos Embassy or how does it work to get your documents and passport back please. Thank you.
Congratulations on your approval.

We can extend the entry stamp to another 90 days if we are not able to meet up before our initial 90 days entry stamp expires. It's not much of an issue although it's extra stress though.

Please guys, who here submitted there hard copy documents through dhl to Brazil embassy recently

Because I submitted mine via dhl first and I forgot to add the authorized letter that I was told to print from econsular and add it as a proof of my appointment but after one week my documents was returned to me with a manual visa application form and another file consisting instructions on what to do, and I did everything even make some changes to my online application form added some documents I did not add before and then filled the manual form and sent it back to them including the appointment proof I did not add before. I even had to consult a visa agent that I paid them and they rechecked my online application and documents too

But am worried now, my online status is yet to go under review and I don’t even know if I will get it approved

Please word encouragement will do abeg

I sent mine ending of January without adding the authorization letter from e-consular as I was told in the mail, and they returned it to me with the manual application form and some printed instructions via DHL return label on the 11th of Feb(just after i week I sent it), then I added the extra documents they requested and I also added the authorization letter and even filled the manual form, then made changes to my uploaded documents and sent it back to them on 12th of Feb and it was delivered to them on 13th

but until now mine is still showing as sent
the visa agent that helped me made some corrections when they returned it to me said, it might be under review and they did not update the website

so I don't even know what to do

Do I need to fill out the form below when sending documents through DHL and mark DHL as the representative? Also, can I send the documents directly, or do I need to wait for a request before doing so?
firstly if they have sent you a mail to send your documents via courier or mail, then if you click on the consular, scroll down and select mail documents you will see a letter to print, print it and add your other documents and send to them via DHL

don't make the mistake I made by sending my documents without adding that letter
they will return it

So i need to wait for them to send an email requesting for documents before i can send to them via DHL?

I have attached a form. Please confirm if its the form they ask you to fill and return back to them.
yes this is the exact form they sent to me with my other documents, and it was stated in their instructions that it was compulsory to fill, I also attached my passport to the form before sending it to them and uploaded it to my online application

yes after you have uploaded your delivery receipt in the e-consular, wait for them to send you a mail to send your documents via courier and you must include the letter(it has a qrcode in it) that will be in your e-consular when they send you that mail

do you understand
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by priscaebuka21: 9:48am On Feb 26, 2025
but how did you get your form

because I never knew that form existed until they sent it to me
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by priscaebuka21: 12:29pm On Feb 26, 2025
alemeru032:
You can find this form in the instructions on the e-consular website. I have already filled it out. Do I still need to complete the first form labeled "Authorization to Third Party" since I will be using DHL to mail the documents?
okay I think that one is for your child, if you are applying for a child though am not sure

Regarding your question, put these into consideration.
The amount you’ll have in your bank account, deduct the cost of your flight tickets, hotel accommodation for both you and your spouse. And make sure there is still enough left to cater for daily expenses for the number of days you say you’ll spend in Brazil. Because they expect that’s where you’ll be paying all your travel expenses from.

Secondly, try to keep that fund in the bank until you get a visa approval/denial from the embassy. Because they might ask you after some weeks to resend bank statements, maybe to see if the fund is truly yours.
