@Diamonds911:
Can you please walk me through the EB2 NIW process as a DIY applicant?

Diamonds911:
Hello house, I appreciate the great advice and opinions shared in ts group. I hope people who are more experienced here could lend some helping hand here. I am a DIY principal applicant for an EB2 NIW and recently submitted my DS-260 online through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website after my I-140 has been approved. I have also paid the Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fees for myself and my accompanying family members.

As I understand, I am required to mail my civil documents to the National Visa Center (NVC). Since I cannot upload these documents online, I have a few questions:

Passport Photographs: Are passport photographs required to be included with the mailed documents?
Photograph Attachment: If yes, how should the passport photographs be attached to the application packet?
Document Stapling: Should I staple my photocopied documents (such as passport, birth certificate, etc.) separately for each family member, even though they will be placed in the same envelope?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on these matters.
Thank you all.

If you take a closer look at your welcome letter, I bet you will see ALL the documents that you are required to send to NVC for you and your family members. Finally do not staple any documents. You can use the special stapler called “office pin” at least that is what I used. And follow the document chronologically as stated in the welcome letter you received. Cheers.

You can use one of the DIY templates from https://www.selfpetitionusa.com/ and customize it to suit your needs.

We are still waiting oh. I expected IL last week, alas! Another indefinite wait. ILs have defied all permutations. May God help us.

We dey run am oga mi, good to hear from you. as for petition, I notified my petitioner that i am done waiting , the ball is in their court at this point to do whatever they want, if they want to cancel , no P, if they want to wait, same noni, as foe me , i am done with waiting. Pivoted to another space, fingers crossed to see how that turn out.

It's clear the lack of transparency and no effort of communication (even when contacted by lawyers and member of congress) on the part of the us consulate in Nigeria shows they are up to no good with regards to Eb interview scheduling.

There's so much excuse you can make before people see through the BS you are up to! wishing everyone goodluck with the wait though.

Is this specific for Lagos? Maybe one can transfer case file to other countries like Europe.

yeah specific to lagos , brasil and a handful of middle eastern countries. You can always transfer to any country if you are a legal resident of the country you are switching to.
Re: USA Employment-based Immigration (EB-1,EB-2,EB-3 Visa) by Babanaaboy1(m): 4:01pm On Feb 05, 2025
You can transfer to Togo or Benin Republic. It's easier to get their resident permit .

I wrote my petition right from the comfort of my room here in Nigeria. No attorney was used. Mind you, I got RFE after 4 months. It took 3 weeks to finish responding to RFE. IMy petition was approved 7 after I resubmitted.
Please can you share or provide guidance on how to respond to RFE...I have not gotten the notice yet but is there a template to follow ?

Please can you shed more light on this? especially to have their residence permit and also won’t the visa office ask you what you are currently doing in the country to have their permit during interview?. Thanks
Re: USA Employment-based Immigration (EB-1,EB-2,EB-3 Visa) by uduafemhe24:
Request for Further Evidence (RFE) is given to an applicant when the USCIS determines that you need to submit additional documentation. This is usually unique to the individual. What you need to do will be explained in your RFE letter there no way to preempt it until you have it at hand. In my case for instance, i needed to submit my academic transcripts and get recommendation letters from folks who have worked with me at my work place. Goodluck bro.

I suggest you transfer to Cameroon if you can. You will receive IL in a month. It has been tested and proven.

Hello @ Babanaaboy1, please how do I reach you to chat more on the Togo, Ivory Coast or Benin route particularly for EB2NIW (I'm aware it's been working for the family based category, unclear about the success rate for ours). Thanks. My email is see_asa@yahoo.co.uk

@Babanaaboy1 please can you share more details on how this transfer works? Please what's the success rate for the EB category Visas? Which of these countries is faster.

This long wait in Nigeria without the end in sight is frustrating.
