Please, those on Telegram, WhatsApp, etc kindly update us also 🙏 Don't just use Nairaland and abandoned it. This will not only be beneficial to us presently here, but to many that will join later. Ordinary Google search will bring people here. But Telegram, WhatsApp, etc are crossed sections.

This is true just heard too for Lagos embassy, they are sending IL for DQ Feb 2023 , EB3, Lagos Nigeria, Interview for April 2025

Good day house, pls, I would like to submit my application soon for EB2 NIW. I have a bachelor of science in Chemistry with over 10 years working experience as a chemist and as a teacher and I have MA in education psychology. I am a registered member of chemical society of Nigeria and chartered and license chemist with iccon. I have 2published article as a co author. I have wes evaluation of my MA transcripts evaluated for canada PR bf, can i use my canada evaluation to submit this application, and Pls, what's my chance of getting approved, and what can I do to increase my chances of approval, thanks

1. You can't use Canada evaluation to file I140 for EB. You will have to contact WES again to evaluate your credentials to US equivalent.

2. On your chance, your endeavor is sounding like "A chemistry teacher" with 2 co authored papers. I think you have about 50pct chance of approval for NIW depending on the officer reviewing your case and how you package the application.

3. Your master degree will have helped but it's not in Chemistry.

4. To improve your chances, try to study the criteria for EB2 more and work on more areas to improve your chances.

Remember the big question the officers look for is "what have you done with your degree that is significant to warrant US national interest and waive job offer requirement. And can you continue to do those significant things when you enter the US.

Now as a Chemistry teacher, how outstanding are you as a Chemistry teacher? Do you have documented evidences to prove how outstanding you have been as a Chemistry teacher? Papers you published, how significant is the information shared in those papers? Who are using it now ? What is potential use in future?
