Any contradictions in God's word will be disastrous as His worshipers won't find it easy to maintain the oneness for which they were given God's inspired word, Jesus prayed to his father saying:

"Sanctify them (Worshipers) by means of the truth; your word (Bible) is truth." John 17:17

Of course translators may err due to their imperfection or use of words that may not convey the message as written by the inspired writers but for someone to say the inspired writers actually pen down contradictions that is coming from no other place but ATHEISM.

the bible contains that which is true and that which is "false" and "contradictory" because men can make mistakes or intentionally manipulate and lie about certain things. But apart from that, much of it has been kept intact and recorded for the future.

Contradictions can be due to misunderstanding what is actually written in the original Hebrew text and mistakenly translated or taught to be an error. There are some quotes from the NTs that isn't directly as it is in the OT.

But the one true consistent thing in the Bible is God said and His intent, from beginning to the end of it. That's asides the recorded speeches of men and the like.

I agree that there are some things that are not true in the Bible like some of the sayings of Jobs friends which God later tells them to repent from. Showing that the purpose of God is true and consistent revealing who He is and what He is going to do and what He expects.
