Kelebabaj:Good morning, I used a travel agency to book KLM and used that, but I think you can also do it online as well and book to pay later. |

Hello House Please I need some advise regarding the TLC Lagos appointment portal. I am at the stage of booking an appointment but i keep getting a prompt to "check back later as there are no available appointments at this time". I would like to know if this is normal, and if it is, when is the best time for getting dates. Any information will be appreciated. Also, first timer. |

Marcgrace:Hello, below are the answers to your questions:- - During your appointment at the TLScontact center for submission, did they collect the printed version of your completed Schengen Visa Application Form? - Yes they did, they will sort the form out and collect part of the form needed, I printed mine in color and went along with it. - Was your return travel ticket fully paid, or was it a dummy ticket?- No, you are advised online not to pay for any ticket until your visa is approved so I just booked and used it without paying for it, then once I got the visa I went back to the travel agent rebooked it, and made payment. - You mentioned a pension statement and a cover letter; is the cover letter provided by your Pension Manager?- Yes my pension providers and my bank provided me with a cover letter stating how long I have been with them and confirming that I have an account with them. - Lastly, is the Personal Tax Card issued by the Federal Inland Revenue Service or Is it a form of tax certificate or something else?- Yes I went to apply for the tax card at the Lagos state tax office i have always paid my personal income tax right from time but I never had my tax card so I went to the office gave them my tax number and requested a tax card and tax clearance certificate. All backlog was paid and the card was issued. I hope this helped you and i wish you all the best with your application. |

Please help!!! Has anyone been able to book an appointment for France in TLS lagos in the last 2days? or can you see any available appointments on the TLS website at the moment? Traveling in May but I haven't been able to get an appointment for a few days and i learnt that the application will be deleted from the TLS site after 10days without booking an appointment. Thanks |

FADEO:Good morning and thanks, For the accommodation I used Expedia.com to get hotel accommodation that would allow you to book without payment, once i got the visa I went ahead and paid for the hotel I booked but not before. When you open the site, input your travel date and sort the hotels according to what you want - price and total refund after cancellation and book now pay later options. Then you book and you will be sent a reservation. As for the flight I used a travel agent she got me the ticket on hold and after I got the visa I went back to rebook with her and made payment. But I know people get to do the same by themself on the airline website like Air France and KLM. I also used Expedia.com to book the Tours that I will be going on when I get to Paris and I also included that in my application. I hope this helps, all the best. |

Those of you always fond of coming here "boldly" to tell us , your husband absconded when he got to france and enter poland on a tourist visa. These kind of stories are compelling and causes problems for others. There is nothing we want to advise you about , when you are in such a situation because you already made up your mind , you just want to hear again from us here. I ask that issues concerning migration are carefully discussed about on this platform because it is a public platform and everything is being monitored. Stop telling these kind of stories to cause issues for other genuine travelers. Goodmorning. |

It’s a generic refusal letter. List all the documentation you provided and have you ever travelled outside the uk before? Horlamidei: |

I am trying to complete my France visa form. Please does anyone know the current available date for tls Abuja appointment? |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 3:57am On Mar 02, 2025 |
Vfs are the ones that truly understands this visa thing. how do you fill form first then later book an appointment? Alot of people have had to cancel their forms when they couldnt get a date after its completion. The booking of appointment has to come first , then filling of forms. Betterstill, they should have a site you can check to know the most recent available dates just like canada, uk and the rest does theirs. Now i see why Uk had to withdraw their stuff from Tls and handed it over to Vfs. They know better. Anyone has idea of recent appointment date for ABUJA? Both first timers and frequent travelers. Please advise, anyone? |

On your next application, make a reservation to go see at least 2 monuments ( e.g Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel towel etc) and add a museum visit as well. That gives a better tourist vibe to your application. For your accommodation, use a reputable site like Booking or Expedia (if you didn't use these for your first application) Apart from your cover letter, also write a concise Travel Itinerary detailing your daily activity starting from the day you depart UK to FR, ending the last day with your checkout from hotel and flight return from FR back to the UK. One page should suffice. The daily activity and date on that travel itinerary should correspond with the date on your tour reservations. Horlamidei: |

Ozeggy:I did everything. All my tourist itineraries and hotel were all booked from booking .com except from the flight intinery. I was mad when I saw refusal because the whole documents were all legit and paid for. I could not cry because I believed I did everything perfectly and paid for. Everything was from booking except from the travel itinerary |

[ I am sorry you got a refusal especially as you did everything right. This is what I SUSPECT happened You are on a graduate visa and you have just about one year left. Technically you don't have any ties in the UK. They may assume you are looking for an alternative and not come back. I would usually advise people to apply when they are still students as you are not likely to abandon your studies after paying international fees or wait till you get a skilled work visa that's valid 3-5 yrs, that shows more ties as you may want to apply for indefinite leave to remain and not want to japa to Any of the schghen states illegally. quote author=Ozeggy post=134364982]On your next application, make a reservation to go see at least 2 monuments ( e.g Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel towel etc) and add a museum visit as well.
