No grounds for appeal there. You are responsible for what your agent/representative does on your behalf.

There will be peace in Ukraine, wether Europe likes it or not. Without America support Europe is nothing, hence why all european leaders are all lining up to kiss the ring of Trump. Ukraine has lost almost half of her territory and over a million people killed or wounded and yet you guys still think peace is a bad idea?.... Hate it or love it Trump is the president of america and will be so for the next 4 years. No amount of badmouthing would change this fact.

It was even more irritating when the vp was reminding Zelensky that he campaigned for the opposition, are they not over the elections they won? Honestly I think Zelensky was even more tolerant, there’s no human in the middle of a war that won’t be pissed

Erm we all want peace, most of all Ukraine. You should ask Putin if he wants peace. I think you'll find the answer is no, as after Ukraine he's already got his sights on other non-NATO EU countries to invade.

However a ceasefire can't be at any cost - it is unreasonable for the US to expect an unlimited minerals deal without pledging some level of military protection or guarantees for Ukraine. It wouldn't even make sense for America as it would expose its mining companies to almost certain re-invasion or attack by Russian forces. You think Putin doesn't want the precious minerals for himself, and he's just going to sit back and let America fill its coffers? Sure....

When the dust has settled and egos have cooled, Trump and Z will meet again, perhaps behind closed doors, to try and salvage a deal that is in both their interests. Trump wants the minerals and he wants the credit (and possibly a Nobel peace prize) for ending the war, so he'll be drawn back to the negotiating table. Hopefully next time he'll leave Vance at home lol

I think a ban would still apply (depending on discretion of ECO) but it would be a lot shorter.

The minister resigned because the cut is from her office but the cut is for a good reason, UK can not be sending aid to the rest of the world while the money is needed for defence back home. Aid to Africa to me is a waste. That resource is hardly going into the intended purpose.

The UK need to stop bending over to America and form a closer bond with EU until that confused human being in the white house lives.
