Did sit at home originated from Anambra state government house?

How will these poor kids catch up or ever compete academically with their couterparts who did not loose out on education in other states for one month due to a man's madness?
In Saudi Arabia the holy land of Islam, The government is NOT closing schools for Ramadan. They only modify the school times so kids' education never suffers.

Ipob miscreants ( Not all Igbo) and some busy body Christians just like to poke their dirty noses in Muslims affairs. You will never see us commenting on Christians religion, we believe in freedom of religion.

In Islam, we encourage our children to start practicing Ramadan fasting from the age of 7. Now the weather is so hot in the north, even the parents will find it difficult to get under the scorching sun to pick their children in school while fasting.

The governments that shut schools did so for the people's welfare, and the people are not complaining. Even our Christian neighbours are happy with the decision, because their children too will get some relief from the hot weather condition.
Since you know very well that there's a big difference between you and Us, and you wants to be let free to practice your animalistic primitivism undisturbed, why don't you support separation to allow you such freedom in full? Why are you the one insisting on gumming with those you despise with so much disdain and with separate culture, religion, tradition, language, dress code, food, reasoning, behavior, believe and much more?

This Reno of a guy is a just is a great disappointment . Bauchi is a multi cultural, religious state. Instead of Reno to speak against the barbarity of closing a school down because of the faith of a certain set of people. He is here attacking the Igbos indirectly. Grow up. Bogoro LG is a wholly christian dominated. So tell me that the whole 30 days those ones and the traditionalist will sit down because of someone else's faith. Nonsense of the highest order. Tinubu should watch out for that bauchi guy so as not to influence others wrongly . my one cent
where did you also condemn arbitrary Monday sit at home in south east or is it only 1 tribe that exist there?

This Reno has no shame and dignity. How can you as an educated fellow defend & justify the shutting down of schools for a whole month just because of Islamic fasting.
Defending the same people/ideologies he spent his miserable time in the US criticizing just because of money. WHAT A SHAME!!

As for the Northern governors shutting down schools, someone should remind me the meaning of Boko Haram again?
They're predominantly Muslims.

The weather is usually very hot between March and April.

They usually would adjust their academic calendar to accommodate the 30 days Ramadan break, hence while other schools have gone on holiday you would realize schools in some of this states taking Ramadan break would still be on session.

I thought he called himself a gospeller. What's with the lies and apologetics especially for northern Muslims who are not even aware of his existence?

Is he aware that Bauchi has a very sizeable Christian population who will also be denied education for a month simply because Muslims want to observe their fast?

What Reno is supporting here is tyranny of the majority. This can be compared to the UK telling all the citizens to eat turkey on Dec 25 in observation of Christmas day.
