I totally agree with this comment but till that happens, US wouldn’t take it that there aren’t self sufficient. Goke7: |

Zahra29:I believed in non proliferation of nukes so I was against the likes of Iran, NK or others from obtaining nukes. But given the Ukraine hopelessness, I now support nukes for everyone. Iran should have it and other countries who want it should get it. |

Lol since this is a UK forum. Let’s ask ourselves the question. Is the Uk in the right financial state to be sending aids and receiving Ukrainian refugees? |

Hope you don’t mind sharing your thoughts to why you don’t want Iran to becoming a nuclear power? Zahra29: |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goke7: 3:04pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:How are we sure the UK too doesn't have eyes on the minerals in Ukraine? We should start from there cos, from what I have seen and know, the West does no charity but is always transactional. They don't send aids anywhere for nothing. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Zahra29: 3:08pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Kenn55:Ukraine is the victim and is entitled to nuclear weapons to protect itself from a relentless oppressor. I am not opposed to nuclear weapons as a defense strategy, however the likes of Russia, NK, Iran are antagonists who are more likely to misuse their weapons |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Zahra29: 3:16pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:The West (including Russia who was an ally at the time) came together to stop Hitler's deadly takeover of Europe. So it's not hilarious to expect Western allies to come to one another's aid especially when they know that they are next in line if they fail to stop an advancing enemy. To the bolded, Ukraine used to be armed with nuclear weapons. Russia and the west signed a treaty with them and persuaded them to give up their nuclear arsenal in exchange for protections and respect for their sovereignty. Guess who reneged on the deal years later and attacked them without provocation? That's right , the same country that you expect Ukraine to enter into another peace agreement with without solid backing from the US and other countries. Would you seriously do the same if you were in their shoes? You would happily sign up to played again like Booboo the fool? |

You still don’t get my point . I am not blaming Ukraine but based on the reality at hand, it can’t survive on the war on its own at this moment. And the WEST and Russia plus China are birds of same feather. It is only you people who have big hope on the WEST that surprise me 😂. Lastly the world that came together against hitler isn’t the current t world we are now. We are now in a world of self centred and greedy countries. Zahra29: |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by AgentXxx(m): 3:26pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Hmmm🤔 you are damn right. That is why it’s funny seeing people think the WEST is morally upright when they are just the same as China and Russia except that they hid their vampire nature. Goke7: |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Zahra29: 3:30pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:The world might be selfish and greedy but we're not all going around in 2025 invading and conquering weaker nations. Only a handful of countries are. No one expects Ukraine to win on its own. Russia is relying on support from North Korea and China to prosecute its war. The US asked the UK for support when they invaded Iraq etc. War is always a collaborative effort. European countries need to step up and do more. Hopefully Trump will see sense and put his ego aside and enter into reasonable negotiations with both parties if they really want enduring peace. |

Keep living in your Utopia 🙂… weeks, months and years to come would reveal more to the world we are now. If someone like Netanyahu still walks free, why won’t Putin not to walk free and do as he likes. Biased love for Ukraine but not Palestine. Zahra29: |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Zahra29: 3:48pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:This comment makes little sense, sorry. What has Palestine to do with this discussion? I haven't mentioned Putin being arrested or tried for war crimes. However I have repeatedly said that I don't blame Z for seeking security guarantees against future invasion, given Putin's previous form. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by justwise(mod): 3:49pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Zahra29:This is what lead to what happened yesterday, Trump and his VP invited Ukrainian president to sign a deal for exchange for security but when he got to US Trump and his team changed their mind and refused to include security as part of the deal, Zelensky refused to sign the deal and that angered Trump and his team...that anger was what we witnessed yesterday. Guess who will benefit from the mineral deal? Musk, Tesla battery needs the mineral material and he was pushing behind the scene to get the deal done. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Zahra29: 3:56pm On Mar 01, 2025*. Modified: 4:12pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
justwise:Imagine, Trump's view is that they don't need to guarantee security because Putin respects him and would not dare attack if he, Trump, asked them not to 🙄 How naive. I don't even mind that the US stands to benefit heavily from the mineral deal. That's life and it's understandable that they want some of their money back. But Ukraine needs that security backstop because Putin is inherently dishonest and sneaky. He would attack US mining companies in Ukraine and then blame Ukrainian forces/militants. Edit If Trump fails to secure the mineral deal, then Russia will likely advance and will appropriate the rare minerals and the US will massively lose money and lose face as well. This is what Putin is playing for and when Trump calms down he will see that he also has a lot to lose , and this is what will bring him back to the negotiation table. |

You don’t have to be sorry for it. You could have ignored but since you replied then it did make sense enough for you to reply 😂. Hyprocrisy at its peak 🙌🏾 Zahra29: |

As long as Palestine doesn’t get freed, Ukraine should join the list of the countries being taken over by oppressors. Everyone would be using up much energy with Ukraine invasion which started in 2014 but become mute with the invasion of Palestine which has been on since 1948. 😂 |

AgentXxx:Agent you are right Ukraine is toast without support from America first then other Europeans.... The Neto people are screening up and down is America. Without America there is no NATO. Europe should be humble and grateful..... Big Don Trump has come to Cain the naughty Europeans. Free lunch is over |

AgentXxx:If hamas did not cross the border to kidnap hundreds and kill over 1,000 israeli civilian, they would have probably been some sympathy. There is already a lot of resentment to israeli treatment of palestinians even in the west but no leader would justify what hamas did in the west. The ukranian army did not cross the boundary to kill 1,000 russian civilians and kidnap 100s provoking a war, notwistanding that russia had annex regions bigger than the entire palestine since 2014. Big difference! |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by justwise(mod): 4:12pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Zahra29:Exactly!! when i first read about this deal on BBC website and the demand for security i thought it will never work because Trump will not be willing to harm his friend Putin. They wanted to shout down Zelensky, force him to sign the deal and dude refused to be intimidated behind close doors and in front of the press, their massive egos got smashed then you started hearing stupid stuff like...have you said thank to the president today? I made you a tough guy, you don't have the card, you are not a tough guy without America.... bla bla bla This is a failed robbery |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by wallg123: 4:15pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
The Nukes that people are saying Ukraine gave up was owned by the soviet union. Who is the backbone of the soviet union ?. Russia.. .. Ukraine never had the capability to develop nukes. Russia took back what she kept in Ukraine when it was the soviet union. You guys should stop spinning tails and dive into history.... History before the Crimean wars. History before the invasion of Russia by Napoleon and then by Hitler... All attempts to invade Russia has failed.... It's also laughable saying NK were fighting along side the Russians (sky news and BBC punchlines). .. instead of arguing without end you guys should provide solutions for the coke head Zelensky |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by AgentXxx(m): 4:15pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
So Hamas have been the one crossing border since 1948 or Is it not Isreal who came to invade them? 😂. What did the world do before then? Tell them to give up a part of their land. Let Ukraine also give part of their land that Russian wants Atk1nson: |

What solution does he have? He became a lab rat for the WEST practical 😂…. Push him to fight Russia, back him for sometime and then pull off the support. 😂 wallg123: |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Atk1nson(m): 4:24pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:You dont get the point or refuse to acknowledge it. both countries have similar problems whether from 1948 or from 2014 , the difference is hamas chose a different path from ukraine. If the ukranian army had crossed the border during the cold phase of the dispute, kidnapping 100s and killing a thousand more in their home, they would not have found the international support they did. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by wallg123: 4:24pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AgentXxx:👌🏿I never thought there would come a time where a peace maker would be shamed and war mongers would be cherished.. Starmer is proposing sending troops to Ukraine as if the UK has an army... A lot of foreign fighter have been killed in this war especially from Poland, Colombia, UK and US and yet you guys are obsessed with imaginary NK soldiers. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by AgentXxx(m): 4:26pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Oga you are the one refusing to get the point. Do you think Ukraine wouldn’t do the same or worse if it have to endure Russian oppression for about 60years and only thing the WEST is telling it is to give up its land with no support to help it claim its land? Atk1nson: |
