MadPolitician:
Thanks for the information on the names and locations of different ethnic groups in Nigeria. Unfortunately, that was the only truthful thing in your write up. That is because igbos are not in any sort of competition with the Yorubas, neither are the igbos fighting the Yorubas. Rather, it has always been the other way round.

The Yorubs since the founding of Egbe Omo Oduduwa by Awolowo, have made the destabilisation and destruction of the igbos a centerpiece of their political strategy. The January 15th coup only provided them with the excuse they desperately wanted to try ethnic cleansing on igbos. All through their support for the fulanis endless wars against the igbos, they have always sited that coup as the reason, because according to them it was an "igbo coup" perpetuated to enforce igbo domination.

That's why they have all been running from pillar to post over the last few days, trying to ridicule Babangidas book that emphatically stated otherwise. They have to find ways to mess up that book, because if the tales in that book are accepted, it means they had no reason to join the fulanis to start a killing spree of igbos since the 60s. So it is the Yorubas that are fighting the igbo. The igbos are only defending themselves against a dangerous enemy that has gleefully unleashed genocide on igboland in the past, without showing any atom of remorse.
Cry me a lagoon, Egbe Omo Yoruba was established to protect Yoruba interests.
Egbe Omo Yoruba was operating in their space, in SW.
How can the establishment and activities of Egbe Omo Yoruba in SW Nigeria be inimical to the survival of the Igbos?, you people are not good people.
Of all the tribes in Nigeria, only Igbos are obsessed with Yoruba, crying day and night.
You guys are like a midget, trying to swallow a giant, until the Igbos back off on their devious desire to take over and subjugated Yoruba, in their homeland, Igbos will continue to cry.
God put Yoruba in the West, Igbos in the East, God even divide us with river Niger.
All that Igbos needs to do is mind their business, and keep their sorry nose out of Yoruba business.

What exactly are the Yoruba Muslims causing for the Igbos?

You should be able to state it in clear terms!!! Islamisation? What evidence or headlines can you sight to show that Yoruba Muslims feel the Igbos are the ones blocking Islamisation? There are more Yoruba Christians than the Muslims and it was not even the Igbo man that brought Christianity to Yoruba man. In fact, Yorubaman brought Christianity to the Igbo man.

See one of the ways in which you lack wisdom and you shoot yourself in the foot. An Igbo man in Haroun Mohammed Eze is the secretary of Muslim council of Nigeria. He was the one that signed Sultan of Sokoto letter to southwest to introduce Sharia. You can see that it's even an Igbo man that is championing Islamisation of south west. What an irony but that's how you people try to claim what is not! Omo ibo, go and calm down cos the more you look, the less you

Have the people you call Yoruba Muslims ever targeted the Igbo man verbally or physically? What are your proofs? See, all these your baseless claim only shows your obsession towards the Yoruba man. You make it so obvious that you have nothing to hold the Yorubas responsible for anything against you but you just choose to make unfounded noise about Yorubas.
Don't mind them, envious and covetous folks.
They're obsessed with Yoruba land and her people.
Iye ni won a ma wo, won o to eye ri.

There are many Chinese, Indians and Lebanese in the South West, and indeed Nigeria. But there is China, India and Lebanon.

Even if all Igbos move out of SW, it won't stop Igbos and Yorubas being in the same country. What is hard for you to understand here?

The only time you can tell people to go back home is when they have a seperate country, same as Nigeria can tell Chinese, Indians and Lebanese to go back to to China, India and Lebanon

If Yorubas truly want Igbos to go back home, they should support Igbos to get a seperate country
Yoruba will not fight anyone's battle, whoever is tired of this country should get the hell out.

Foolish senseless lies
Are the igbo more than Yoruba n igbira in Kogi ? Are igbos more than yorubas in Edo ?

Are they more than Tiv n Idoma in Benue ?
Are igbos more than Kanuri Hausa Fulani in Sokoto Zamafara Adamawa Borno etc

Lunatics n fools among you will just wake up and start making senseless assertion.

Yobabad:
. I think this because the igbos travel more, do you know that in each state in Nigeria outside the SE, the igbos are the second largest group outside the indigens of that particular state

Exactly, that was why Yorubas pushed that Igbos leave south west but what did the Igbos do? They started crying up and down instead of just leaving. You see the igbo hypocrisy?

Nobody is leaving south west as long as one Nigeria stands.
You should be pushing for Igbos to have their country.

Get it once and get it right. Yorubas are not interested in anything about you, either you leave or stay. You are the ones complaining about Yorubas always. It was when your trouble was getting too much they said you should leave.

If we are in the same country and you always complain about us, calling Yoruba Muslims, while we don't call ourselves such names meaning you are not okay with us, nothing stops you from leaving. E no sweet but you no spit am out. Because Yorubas that are Christians don't propose the idea if calling Yorubas that Muslims 'Yoruba Muslims '

The fact that we are in the same country doesn't mean you can't return to your village by the way. It's funny you saying Yorubas should support you leaving . Awolowo once tried to make it easy for any ethnic group who wished to leave do so easily but Azikiwe opposed it. The question now is "is Igbo man willing to leave'?

Don't worry about it, Nigeria is heading for disintegration anyway. When this long failed British colonial contraption called Nigeria comes to an end, and everyone goes their way, this headache we have been giving each since 1960 will finally come to and end

I'm not a Muslim but from a Muslim background We are originally all 4 Muslim kids. 2 are now Christians including me while 2 are still Muslims. Same thing has happened in the extended family. I also have them all around me. Yoruba Muslims don't oppose you. They live their lives normally. You don't have any proof to claim Yorubas that are Muslims have done to you Igbos. Even though I don't approve of the principles of their religion, they still live their peacefully, an act which is not even the nature of Islam. The real nature of Islam is what Boko haram and Isis are doing. You can't even point to any jihadist group killing people in South west.

Most of your arguments lack substance but you still hold on to it. It is not good to see nothing and begin to make something of the nothing based on your imagination.
I can tell you with all certainty that if you were from a Christian background as a Yoruba man you would not have the position you have today.

There can be no respect between Ndiigbo and Yaribas within Nigerian space.
That respect will only come when Nigeria disintegrates and Ndiigbo get our independent country.
