That is to say , ATM usage will drop massively... This people are just giving away their customers to Opay and Palmpay with this levies.. when have I used my 4 ATMs last . I used one once last year and that was my Access Bank card .

Transportation cost to ur bank nko? Except if ur bank is close. From my house to my bank ATM is 600 naira keke. So to withdraw 20k, I will spend 700naira, how is it cheaper for me in particular?. N these banks still deduct numerous charges already ooo.

And imagine after entering keke to the Bank, ATM no come get cash?
The only time I use the ATM is when I just renew my card and test if it's working or not. Next time will be after 3 years.
I'll never make the mistake of depending on Nigerian bank's ATM card or app for any transactions.

If it’s possible to call together every serious person in Nigeria to protest. The theme would be : No going back, no matter what. The serious ones should fight for the unserious ones and everyone in general. Out of 200M Nigerians, We should see how many people would actually join. You can be smart by having an account with a bank that has branches almost everywhere, like GTBank. I’ve changed my location four times, and I still have a GTBank branch close to me. I don’t even use POS. I withdraw 20k from my bank for things that don’t accept transfers. No alert charges because I selected email only, and no ATM maintenance charges. You can’t just open an account with any bank.

The truth is a lot of these things were caused by POS operators.

You need to withdraw your 5k, meanwhile they are on the queue with 5 atm cards to withdraw as much as they can.

Some banks sells cash directly to them, and I can’t even remember the last time I used an atm machine.
Banks are not even ready to put money in the machines.

I guess the Govt was like, if you can pay 100 for your cash then you should be paying it directly to us.

But before we blame the CBN making these laws, let’s point fingers to ourselves.
