The main issue is that one may not have the money to jump in as at then.

If you lost your wallet phrase, there is no way you can retrieve it than to remember where you kept it.

You can create a new wallet phrase but note that those ones you already mined when you submitted your old wallet address will be lost while the ones you mined after you submitted wallet phrase will be migrated to the new wallet you will change to now.

If you have submitted that wallet you created, that's where they will migrate your coins into.

After submission and you then changed your wallet, your pi under transferrable will be moved to the new wallet you created.

The only way they can migrate the whole of your pi to new wallet is if you haven't submitted that old wallet address at all under the mainet kyc steps..
