Crv is OK,I drove one for 3 years,09 model. I was getting 19.5mpg on gas,catalyst not so expensive. Its a 2.4liter engine. So enjoy crv
While x3 is a straight six 3.0 l engine,same engine horsepower with benz c300..straight six more rugged,crv ....more torque,less speed..so choose

I love the X3, obviously a better ride quality since it's German BUT I'll advise you buy the CR-V. The only way I'll say you should go for the X3 is if you've done your extensive research on what preventative maintenance to do immediately after purchase and you have qualified mechanics to use here in naija. Nairaland no sweet like before so I don't know who to recommend here again

If he stays in Lagos, I believe he won't run out of reliable mechanics. Make hin enjoy luxury of life small before hin old age when e no go make sense again.

i would personally go for the x3 since I've used the CR-V before and didn't particularly like the slight roadnoise that came through which I know the bmw will not have besides, I watch hours of videos on any car I'm interested in so as to know what to expect beforehand. That's the only way to survive these European mad men

You seem to be confusing me here oh, 1st you said I should choose CRV, next you said x3 is sweet and would personally go for it.

Stay one place na bros, so I go know how to deliver your thunder if your choice fails me

I mean, you should go for something that's easier to maintain ie the CR-V which is basically a plug and play vehicle and very reliable compared to the X3 and also considering Nigeria's current economic situation. BMW make vehicles you have to research on first, there are parts you'll have to change immediately after buying them used them you'll be sure of another three to five years of enjoyment
