Sowore I am not your fan but I support your comment. Why will a State Governor close down all schools; Primary, Secondary & Higher institutions for 5 weeks because of Ramadan. It's recklessness and abuse of power because there are millions of Christians, Traditional worshippers and sensible Muslims in the State. Meanwhile the fasting is just skipping of lunch O. The sharia states had literally drawn the boundaries for their Arewa Islamic Republic. But rest of Nigeria continue to tie themselves with the sharia states. Therefore, the sharia states have a sense of entitlement to Nigeria. The sharia states can set aside the constitution of Nigeria to do what they want - no issues. They count on the disagreement between the Yoruba and the Igbo in Nigeria. |

TriCee:I think it is wrong to close Schools for Ramadan. You can reduce the School hours maybe but totally close it is not a good idea in my opinion. Never heard of anywhere where Schools are shut for a month because of Ramadan. The excuse is that the weather is extremely hot and dry in the North this time of the year.
