Especially the Facebook page.... That page was in comatose for too long...

Interestingly, before the last AFCON, the page had a little over 800k followers... After AFCON,it grew to 1.1m followers... Now it's at 1.3m...

Chrisantus Uche’s call up for me is the most significant. Will greatly bolster our midfield dominance. Iheanacho and Alhassan Yussuf have no business in this team.

It's a solid provisional list, not gonna lie.

Glad for Igoh Ogbu, Chrisantus Uche, Tolu Arokodare, Chidera Ejuke and Akor Adams inclusion. I hope they make the final list.

I'm gutted by the exclusion of Olisa Ndah who I consider Nigeria's best-ball playing, press-resistant and versatile defender as he can play any position in a back four or three.

By who...since 2015 when we last won the under 17 world title. The Osimhen and Chukweze's set. It's been ten good years now. Since we last found a group of local groom young prospect for the eagles. While Iheanacho , Awoniyi and Ndidi have paid their dues with time, they only remain in the discussion of our national team simply because of their experience. Their success at the youth level was good enough to qualify them as regular national team players.
