Seeing Ahmed Musa and the likes sends a wrong message signal to some of us , i am now of the opinion that Otichelle is not solely in charge of the team ,there are some external factors and influences .... player should qualify by merit . not political affiliation or god fatherism .. abi na by quota system
.

From d look of things, you are not far from d truth. Methinks Rabiu Ali should be invited also to balance d equation.

Can't musa himself retire? What else does he wants, already won Afcon, multiple world Cup appearances, all time cap bagged, at this point he's just blocking someone's else spot
He wants to win Afcon as a captain so bad
If we had won the last Afcon he would have retired

I saw Ahmed Musa on the list, I just weak.

This is a political list drawn up to pacify everyone. I hope this will not bring doom to Chelle
i thought Musa has retired from the National teams. That means if Musa can be invited, Ideye still have a chance or Onazi 😂

I am highly disappointed at him

He has seen it all in international football by winning the afcon, played in 2 world cups and holds the record as Nigeria’s highest goal scorer in the competition, played in the u20 afcon and World Cup so what else is he trying to prove/achieve that will be different from what he has achieved already in international football?

We need to send a delegation to Ahmed Musa with pen and paper and insist that he should formally retire. We don tire. To serve Nigeria is not by force

That Mùsèdínkù abi na Musa is seriously selfish just like our politicians. We don't need his services anymore, though we respect is national and international record if there is any.

Ahmed Musa
- 32
- still playing active football week in week out in NPFL for kano pillars(to remain relevant in african football
-scoring 5goals in 10 appearances
-still has 100% firm knowledge grips and some form of connection and synergy with this current generation of super eagles(Afcon 2024)

Ogenyi Onazi
- 32
- Played last for Avezzano italian serie D (2023-2024) scoring 0goals in 14 appearances
- played last for super eagles since 2018(7yrs ago)
- Has little or no form of connection and synergy with this current crop of super eagles generation

Brown Ideye
-36(older than the aforementioned players)
-currently playing for Enyimba (just to keep up body fitness)
-scoring 2 goals in 7appearance
- Last played in super eagles since 2016(9yrs ago)
-Has no recent or immediate knowledge of whats going on in this present day eagles

Efe Ambrose
- 36yrs
-Playing currently for Workington AFC of the 7th tier of English league
-making 25 apearance and scoring 1goal
-played last for super eagles since 2016(9years ago)
- Has nothing on this current super eagles squad to offer

Rabiu Ali
-44years(has nothing connecting him with super eagles, even in his prime days, he is always best use for Home based eagles….make i no waste my time on that one

Bottom line, you people should leave Ahmed Musa alone, he is still football relevant to this present super eagles.
He is at least worth a super eagles 35mans provisional squad in the here and now…If Argentina still dey call Messi and Portugal still dey call Ronaldo, you people should leave Musa alone, for now he is our Messi/Ronaldo…on Fifa world cup level, no Nigerian player past and present come close to the record Musa has set…he is not retired he is currently in good form and he is single handedly pushing Kano pillars to CAF champions league football with kano pillar trailing the CAF champions league spot with just 1point..
Ahmed musa will still challenge players like chukwueze in super eagles, this is a testament that he started playing football with his real age…he is not even lethargic anytime soon.
FREE HIM!!
CHELLE!! kudos
99.9% perfect provisional list🔥🔥

So many players on the list as expected as we have two matches in the window.
I have read comments about the list being political. What did you expect? Eric Chelle wouldn't know all the players within two months. He needs time to learn the players and so would be given a list by the NFF for a start.

Again, expect nothing different in the two matches this month.
I'm not interested in qualification for the world cup with the prevailing standard and pattern of play.
I'll rate Eric Chelle if he gives us the football that we identified with in the 80s and 90s. Qualifying for the world cup would be a bonus.

Comparing Musa with Messi is silly. Football apart, Messi's financial impact on football is tremendous.
Musa is in the team based on the horrible quota system.
