The EU ....the US and Russia made an agreement that Ukraine would be a buffer zone between Russia and the West ... off limit to EU missiles... military bases...etc. This was more than two decades ago. Why suddenly Russia decided to invade? Biden. Biden wanted a war with Russia and got the comic to try to join NATO .... knowing full well it will lead to war. The same as if Putin try to put missiles in Cuba. It was a legitimate threat to their national security. US got what it wanted under Biden ...a proxy war ... fighting Russia with Ukraine as the front man. Now the US has pulled out and the dummy is left stranded. Why can't he continue putting up a good defence and counter strikes against Russia? A puppet can never make moves on his own without a puppet master. Biden was never trying to make peace ....and Zelensky is not looking for peace either .... there is sooo much to gain from the spoils of war .... let the dollars keep coming.

Asides 3 years of putting up a "stubborn" resistance, it's also 3 years of blocking potential peace negotiations with Russia, because of classic hatred... and that makes Zelenskyy no different than Putin, because he has been marching Ukrainians to their death for 3 years, especially since he knows all he can do is resist... at the expense of Ukrainian lives.

It was cute resisting during the 1st year and the whole world was behind him, but stringing it on for 3 years while using the war as a fundraising initiative naaaah mhen... Human life wastage like this in 2025 is not necessary.

Fyi: despite all the resistance Ukraine is stapling up for Russia, the EU is still conducting business with Russia, infact the war is now more or less a good price negotiation tool for Gas & Energy.

There’s actually little EU can do, they are also vulnerable and won’t deplete their arsenals for the sake of Ukraine. Expect more strikes from Russia. Zelenskyy has no choice at this point than to succumb and sooner or later regime change will happen in Ukraine and by this time, he/she will be Russian puppet. It’s a gain for Russia and a loss for Europe. Sadly, lives were lost.
