The law is clear on that and as for when the assembly building isn't available, the house can sit anywhere.

As long as they are within this borders of the state, have the necessary numbers and the mace, they can sit anywhere and make resolutions. The executive order signed by the governor is just a waste of paper.

Executive Order from the same Governor that The Supreme Court of Nigeria labeled a Criminal?

Same man the court accused of destroying the House of Assembly building for fear of impeachment .

Well Fubara has shown himself to be a very foolish man, so nothing he does surprises me anymore.

The Governor should stop giving himself problems on this Assembly matters in the interest of Rivers People.

All this supremacy battle will not favor him eventually, and the need for him to work hand in hand with them.

Truth is, if he continues with this winch hunting, then his impeachment will be supported by The FG (NASS) and heaven will not fall.

That said, Fubara should have simply used the lawmakers exit from PDP (videos & court statements) as evidence that they had left pdp. The issue of cross carpeting should not have arose.

Since the Nigerian constitution does not recognise independent candidates, thier decision and action to exit pdp would have been enough for them lose thier seats.

So, while fubara can prove that they had left the pdp, he cannot prove that they decamped to apc, which is now the crux of the matter.
