Wahala. Ordinary rice plant, an entire government cannot manage. Are you telling me a private individual will fold their hands and watch their dream go to waste? Here's a government, with an army of resources at their disposal giving excuses.

Just say it isn't working. That's much more believable.
that is the same government some brainless fools said built Lagos, will make Nigeria like Lagos and that tinubu will favor them all based on propaganda but now it has come to doings and they laid bare their incompetence and failure before the whole Nigeria

All this one na excuse

Managing supply chain is not rocket science. If they are really serious, managing the supply shouldn't bring headache like this. This is just ordinary rice. What if it's something much complex? They should do better

I am tired of always coming up with excuses...have distributors that can use technology...then have people enter NIN, make payments and pick up. We get brain but we just can't come up with solutions to problems.

Honestly organization and management is not rocket science. Most times it's those at the helms that mess up everything. They should do better.

Is it not shameful they are complaining of sabotage? This is another white elephant project
That is how it is with pseudo progressive palliative sharing socialists who want government control and ownership of businesses.

Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?

The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

Anytime APC are caught red handed in their lies, they start playing the blame card. The fulls don't know that, telling a lie is no issue, the real work lies in maintaining the lie. I don't understand how you knew sabotage is ruining your hard work and you stand aside with your full chest, just looking, as if your hands are tied down, if not that you are telling white lies.

Are you minding them. What would take for them to open their own Eko store, and sell one per customer
What happened with similar schemes in the past? How many of them are still around, like Buhari’s NNSC- Nigeria National Supply Company?

Government has no business doing business.

The pendulum in their minds swings between urge to steal and desire to provide good governance and in many cases the former wins due to force of habit from stealing

The saboteurs are still members of the government in power, the Obasa gang, the family of the governor and the big money miss roads billionaires in Lagos still hustling and sweating to make more money through rebagging of ordinary rice meant to be sold to the masses in the land of Lagos..

Sanwo.Olu knows the saboteurs, he's is just pretending not to know....

This reason is not a credible one at all. It's the inability and incompetence of the Lagos State Government to organise a fool-proof marketing/distribution system that is the cause.

Government at National and state levels have totally lost the ability to be competent. It's a big shame on those parading themselves as leaders.

Failed project, I know from inception that the rice mill is a deception to give impression that Lagos state is doing something about agriculture, the much touted LAKE rice is only heard during the yuletide where rice are bagged in the branded "Lake Rice" bags and sold to civil servants at discounted prices.

Nonsense!
So why does your system allow bulk sales of a product intended for household consumers?
The solution is not restricting people from buying in large quantities but ensuring they produce beyond the buying capacity of the so called sabateurs.
