You cant see it becos, those expected to distribute, hoard and re bag it to sell

Those working in Alausa and Apc members are the big saboteurs of govt goodies cos they must hoard n divert a lot

Govt is not serious, saboteurs can be handled
Is Imota mills functional, most of these projects are audio!

I saw a bag of Eko Rice with someone and asked where I could get it to buy. She said it was a gift so she had no idea.

Why can't they sell it in some places like it was done before? Hopefully, we'll get to buy it from the planned market hubs when they become more active. As long as only distributors get to buy directly, it will be scarce and expensive.

The solution is not restricting people from buying in large quantities but ensuring they produce beyond the buying capacity of the so called sabateurs.
What I wanted to bring out is that the system is corrupt and that’s why end consumers are schemed out by the cartel and internal collaborators. No matter the quantity they produce, there are people that are ready with money to buy and hoard.

When Ambode was governor, we used to get Lagos rice (Lake Rice) at specific locations like all over Lagos, now it's Sanwo Olu's turn, so many stories, they changed the entire system.

Sanwo-Olu hasn't lived up to expectations at all. He might not have any legacy to leave after 8 years of governorship.
For real with all the legacy very visible

Which legacy, oga na the LAMATA projects wey Lagos don dey do since 15 years ago dey save Sanwo. The rail projects in Lagos started way before Sanwo Olu came in, just that blue line was completed during his tenure. The Oshodi Interchange was built and commissioned by Ambode, now its looking dirtier than ever.

Wahala. Ordinary rice plant, an entire government cannot manage. Are you telling me a private individual will fold their hands and watch their dream go to waste? Here's a government, with an army of resources at their disposal giving excuses.

Just say it isn't working. That's much more believable.
Did you understand the report?

Rice that they are trading on Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE).
The rice and the mill is not for Lagosians, its a money making venture.

Let me lend my voice to the matter.

Truly, the Rice Mill has a huge capacity.
Not well managed by government. Somehow, a private investor has partially takeover.

There is indeed a large store for rice but production isn't on daily basis. Hence, the output is not commensurate.

However, I have no idea who, where they distribute the rice. But, I can tell it isn't serving the masses but allies.

You can't find the rice in Ikorodu as close as it is. No saboteurs walk into the factory to takeaway the truck with bags of rice. The bag has been rebranded.

The leadership issue in Nigeria has eaten deep into every sector.

This Governor is not prioritizing citizens' welfare in any way. BRT has almost collapsed along Ikorodu Road,Rice from LAke is not availabe in the market and you are blaming middlemen. What will happen if you take charge of your channels of distributions in all the LGS and CDA, major markets, etc.?

This is not rocket Science, this comment should the incompetent of the State government to do their due diligence before embarking on this project. Lagos State Government is indirectly telling us the general public that they don't know what they are doing.

Nothing good can come out of Lagos state government. Ordinary rice milling and sales see excuses. They are the same Lago state officials re-bagging it themselves and selling it. They are the same saboteurs. Thats how they keep their lifestyles of having various properties scattered everywhere as cuvil servants that everybody know their salaries. And children and family sponsored in Europe. Why they dont sell in 1, 2bags. Who will re bag 2 bags and take it out of Lagos? They are thieves themselves from the top to the bottom.
