If only they know the damages Trump is doing to already declining US influence. My prayer is that it won't get irredeemable before Trump leaves office. From my little knowledge, I pray US doesn't become another failed empire like Rome.

America's greatness that MAGA is shouting for, is not just about the amount of cash in each of American's purse, it is a lot more about the influence of US Economy and Military power all over the world, after all US is only about 10th position when we look at GDP per capita of countries. But today that influence is diminishing, The economy of US including her allies are shrinking, today BRICS is ahead of G7 controlling about 35% of the world GDP, while G7 control about 28% of the the world GDP, it was not like that before now, and these Tariff Trade wars US is fighting will only hurt her more and isolate US economy from the rest of the world.

It is not a good thing that the rest of the world are already looking for alternatives to US, now few developing nations are looking up to US to take loan from, or have a deal to develop their infrastructure, those nations are getting better deals from BRICS now. And no thanks to the removal of little favor in USAID to these countries, they are now bold cutting deals with China and others, which they ordinarily would have discussed with US.

Military-wise, the way Trump is handling Ukraine war and his attitude to NATO is also sending wrong signals. Few of US allies still see US as a dependable ally, certainly Canada is not. Many countries are now asking US to remove their military base from their countries, even poor Niger that is dealing with insurgents and rebels, feels no need for US military base in their country. Not a good thing.

And making the matter worse, US has a president that talks and acts before thinking and he is surrounded by 'Yes Sir" men. Not looking good at all.

This is why wise people are warning Trump about breaking away from NATO thinking it's all about USA alone. US foes are forging alliances while Trump is breaking US alliances; who is becoming weaker and who is getting stronger and who is getting weaker? You don't have to be a military expert to answer that. Without NATO, US can not singlehandedly handle Russia, China, and Iran combined. But with NATO yes.

The Trump administration has officially eliminated several food safety committees, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Foods (NACMCF) and the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection (NACMPI). Both were cut through the Executive Order titled "Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy." As the order stated, it eliminates offices and committees that the "President has determined are unnecessary."


“The termination of these two important advisory committees is very alarming and should serve as a warning to consumers that food safety will not be a priority at USDA in the foreseeable future," Brian Ronholm, director of food policy at Consumer Reports, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. "These expert panels provide impartial scientific advice and recommendations to USDA, FDA, and the CDC on public health issues related to food safety in the U.S. The failure to recognize and leverage the value of this scientific expertise is dangerous and irresponsible.
