Blazetrailer:Really All these stories/unncecessary research just because you are NOT aware of the concept called DEBT SERVICE![]() Debt service takes 60% of our revenue and is a major component of our budget. Do you think we pay it in Naira ![]() You dull gan o ![]() Ignoramus! |

Lol....super daft, empty and a liar. I thought he even had basic knowledge. According to records debt servicing is 35.4% of 2025 approved budget. Where did you get 60% from?? These are people who don't know anything or dropped out from school but come online to fabricate lies just to get paid stipends. Question was not even the currency they pay the foreign debts or meaning of debt servicing....but that the recent depletion of the foreing reserve was not for debt repayment nor servicing. You can see your life outside. After being caught telling lies and assuming that the only data in world bank's wensite was for Worldbank only....here you are telling lies and twisting things too...olodo! Now that you have learnt a few things from me...just say "Thank you sir" and disappear from the thread quietly or change your username like some have done recently because you have been marked as an unintelligent poster and a liar. Look into the mirror....you should be seeing a blinking ass.....that is you...the true ignoramus. galserv: |

Yes debt service is in usd and is a high percentage of revenue.. but that exactly is the problem .. after the debt servicing what we have left is not so much for imports of which we import a lot.. and thats what causes pressure on the rate... if u dont tackle the fundamentals of increasing usd inflow or reducing usd outflow, the rate will do that for you by going upwards, consequently reducing the demand galserv: |
| Re: Why The Naira Has Been Making Gains Lately - Zeal Akaraiwe by galserv: 9:28am On Mar 10, 2025 |
Blazetrailer:35% for where Are you a dull*rd Debt service used be nearly 100% during Buhari's era. Tinubu just managed to bring it down to 60%.The fact is that the depletion of forex reserves is not due to defending the Naira but the fact that we have obligations to meet - debt service. That is my point from the onset. CBN sells between 25million - 55million dollars per week to BDCs. That's not enough to deplete our reserves. Ignoramus! |

Now I know you are complete buffoon ans a lost soul... 😆 🤣 1. In your earlier post(go and read it), you claimed Nigeria used to spend 96% of its BUDGET on debt service, while in actual fact, it was N3.8 trillion, representing 22% of the N7.trillion budget. For 2025 budget, Tinubu is spending 35% of the entire budget on debt servicing 2. In 2022 Nigeria spent 96.3% of its total REVENUE(not budget) on debt servicing whereas in 2023 it was 80.7% and 68% in 2024 Now see where your buffonery started from? In your characteristic dumbness, you had mixed up the BUDGET for REVENUE. Someone who does not know the difference between revenue and budget should not be having access to cheap data. By the way, in your warped buffonery, you think when they say CBN is defending the nairal,it is just about what they sell to the BDCs 😆 🤣 . So when Japan and Brazil intervened to defend their currencies with ove $22bn in recent time, it was ehat they sold to their black market? I said it. You are too dull to have a phone ans access to cheao data..lol No wonder you dont know the difference between Revenue and Budget. galserv: |

Blazetrailer:You are just being a bold l*natic!!! I said 60% of our REVENUE went to DEBT SERVICING and that a significant part of our BUDGET goes to debt servicing too. Why are you trying so hard to twist my points Below is my post again:galserv:I am not doing any research to answer you. No time! I know all these from following the news everyday unlike you that is doing research upon research just to appear smart. ![]() What is defending the Naira if not making it readily available in the market at a regulated price And how do you do that if you are not selling to banks and BDCs![]() Yemi Cardoso keeps coming out to say that our reserves getting depleted by our foreign obligations yet muntulas like you think you know better. Ignoramus!!! |
| Re: Why The Naira Has Been Making Gains Lately - Zeal Akaraiwe by Blazetrailer: 11:48am On Mar 10, 2025 |
😆 🤣....not disappointed again.....expected when you know you are buffoon and you dont have capacity to research, why will you not accept what Yemi Cardoso says hook line and sinker without fact checking?. There have been reports from credible sources(AP/Reuters) that Nigeria was propping up the value of the naira, even before Bismark Rewane revealed the truth recently that $8bn has been spent to defend naira...was all of that sold to BFCs? You will only believe the rubbish thay comes from government sources if you dont have the capacity to think on your own.....mumu. Wale Edun came out last year to state the Nigeria eas not paying a dim for petrol subsidy only for him to defend a budget of N7trillion for paying NNPCL as "augmentation fees" at them national assembly. Those are your masters. Again, you misquoted. Rveneue is completelt different from budget. Separate the two when analysing. Anamu!! galserv: |

Blazetrailer:Olod*! Screaming to high heavens won't stop it from showing. ![]() Again, I NEVER mistook revenue for budget. I have been correct all along with my figures. My point remains that debt-servicing is responsible for the depletion of our reserves rather than Naira defence. galserv:Indeed, there was NO SUBSIDY OF PETROL when FG claimed there was none. What we had was SUBSIDY OF THE DOLLAR in the NNPC. As soon the Naira was devalued in the NNPC, the true cost of petroleum products was revealed which is what we have today. Now say thank you for that enlightenment. Ignoramus ![]() You are too small to make do research and waste my time. I am busy online doing the needful so that Naira value favours be anyways ![]() I would rather go with Cardoso, the CBN governor, than you, Rewane and other sore-losing dull*rdss. ![]() |
