if my hunch is correct, which is only a thesis, a good strategy would be to keep powder dry and buy assets as soon as we get firmer messaging on deep interest rates cuts, or as soon as there is a black swan event, as cuts will surely follow. Keeping powder dry means your money on exchanges in dollar form. Every asset will go up from there. Tech sector for stocks and Crypto (Solana in particular) will have the biggest Delta from any crash. If you are in property, buy and lock away your interest rate for a long time. The game is to be sold, not told.

And for the records, NATO has a combined military personnel of 3.42 million of which US contributes 1.33 million troop.

But it's not just by the number of military personnel, Türkiye has almost double of UK or Germany personnel, but you and I know Turkey cannot withstand either of them.

Also no matter how big US military is and how small the rest of NATO is, the alliance only make US stronger. NATO without US can withstand either of Russia or China, it will just be bloody, ( an experiment no one prays to see), I know they cannot boast of defeating Russia + China, so also you and I know that US cannot easily take out Russia + China alone too.

It's not about defeat. Russia is also exhausted of manpower, logistics and have been under strict Capital controls for too long with crazy interest rates.

At this point a wise leader will play the game so Russia takes Crimea, and even Donetsk and Luhansk but give back their part of Zaporizhia and Kherson while holding back their $300bln for Ukraine reparations. They will also bring in China to apply pressure from the other side.

Putin can sell that to his people since his stated aim was taking Donetsk, Luhansk and "denazification" which means regime change. He can spin denazification however he likes and come out with his head held high.

What Trump is doing is setting them up to take all 4 regions by weakening Ukraine, not pay any reparations and resume normal trading relationships with the West. That is unconscionable to Europeans and the message has been that they will not resume normal relationship with Russia under those circumstances, nor will they return the seized money. So it is up to Trump now as to whether he is willing to sanction European countries for holding Russian money, let's see how much he loves Russia. This matter done serious pass wetin you imagine.
