Bashir El-Rufai has reacted to claims that President Bola Tinubu has infiltrators within the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to manipulate its internal processes.

Reacting to speculation about Tinubu’s past connections with the party, El-Rufai dismissed the claims as baseless conspiracy theories.

He insisted that such political sabotage would not succeed within the SDP, comparing the situation to what he believes happens in the Labour Party (LP).

“Conspiracy theories flying about Pablo’s former ties with SDP, then that must mean he/they have moles within the party already to sabotage the process.

“It is lie. This is not Labor Party. They cannot pull it off,” he stated.

ThisDay Nigeria reports that former Kaduna State Governor and a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai who is also the father of Bashir, had officially resigned from the ruling party yesterday, expressing deep concerns over its current trajectory and leadership.

In a statement released on Monday, El-Rufai slammed the APC for straying from its founding ideals and accused its leaders of neglecting critical internal issues while sidelining key members.

He noted that despite making efforts both publicly and privately to address these concerns, the party has failed to uphold the progressive values it once stood for.

Let give tinubu time he will fix Nigeria. At least in dis remaining 6 year's i know things will get better. He just assumed office not up to 3 years and you people are just talking trash about him. Let support tinubu because i know he will turn things around. The GDP was 2.90° but tinubu entered and changed it to 4.9™°. What goodluck Jonathan cannot do for about 7years in office. Only president that increased all workers salaries. Fuel was about 1200 but due to his stability the fuel is now 1030.
