We talked about Skyrun on this thread if you read it chapter by chapter.

The reason many are hesitant about the Skyrun power station is because of experience with their other electronics. Also, no accessible reviews from other users. Another is that it is just a 1-year warranty, unlike Ecoflow, which is 5.

I think you will be the first to use that Skyrun on this thread. I may be wrong.

Do you have a freezer?

Enjoy.
you're absolutely right on this. Buying it was a mistake anyway, but I'm optimistic it will serve me.

Don't be discouraged because of my opinion or consensus here. It may as well serve you more than us. I believe you cam easily access Skyrun here in Nigeria, unlike Ecoflow, which I think it is a plus.

So, cheers.

Get 500+ watts or more. So far it is within the voltage and amps for the River 2 Pro.

it gave me 11hrs use without home theatre usage. If it can give me 5hrs with home theatre, then I'm fine.

You can elongate that with solar panels for daylight time.

Any idea about its maximum solar input?

Monitored my 590w Solar panel yesterday
Máx was 500/501w
Steady state was 250-400w

I was initially scared, but it didn't last at 500w, it just keeps flunctuating

1) Scared of what?

2) What is the placement of your panel to get such output?

I thought solar charging for D2 is max at 500w

It was placed by one solar guy

Sure, the max input is 500w. It will just ignore the rest or restrict it. Nothing to fear at all. Oh....okay. Max I have obtained on mine was 474w. Just wanted to know the best angle for my 555. That's it.

Nice input from jinko. What and what were you running pulling out that 300w as output?
Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by DrDoc: 1:10pm On Mar 13, 2025
have a 300 watts solar power station, with standing fan, two solar panels. I am willing to sell if you have interest. It powers laptop, fan, portable devices, small led tv

National grid is down again...now my unit has been on since 9 till now...Can I be on the generator for about 7+ hours now and not cry? Anyway...solar is the way, portable ones are the future and now
I remember posting this. Someone liked this today and it brought to my remembrance my present predicament since the rain has started now.

What has been saving the food in my freezer now is Ecoflow, this solar thing.

We've not had light in our area since 4 days + now. Why?

Heavy wind from rain don fall like three poles...frustrating. As we enter the rainy season...this is expected...but wind should normalise in the long run.

Waiting till they fix this.

Guess my fear was needless

I actually experimented
I put Freezer and fridge on it in the morning at 6am with 100% watching the solar input

Eventually the D2 had to shut down at 10% (based on my setting) because there wasn't enough solar input till about 11/12noon

Both are okay to charge it. Just that with the grid, you can fast-charge it within 56 mins (not recommended to use this every time). Max input for solar is 500 watts.

Also, it is normal for that 29%. That is the battery percentage for out-of-the-box and if you want to keep the Delta 2 in storage for a long time so that the battery doesn't go dead.

Ok, thanks for your input, also can I charge directly with nepa, or I use a voltage protector (binatone avp-3000)

Best to charge with voltage protector if you have it.

Finally there's light, plug it but it's not charging, could there be something I'm missing?

Check the cable connection to the unit and the wall. Do you hear a clicking sound?

It's charging now, I discovered the voltage supply was low as at when the light came last night, it's much higher during the early morning, I will have to get a stabilizer for charging it.
