AndSunGorilla:Ezenwa no be third keeper for Enyimba but getting invitations under Rohr....no be today our invitation dey look somehow.I remember how far better Emma Babayaro sat out to very average Okheneboh during Japan 93,the same Emma Babayaro was pushed to the bench again during Atlanta 96 using Togo match as an excuse and funny he wasn't at fault in any of the goals conceded, agent thing brought Dosu Joseph in,well Japan and Atlanta results did not gave anyone chance to raise eyebrows. Serious,Bankole is Remo second choice?I thought he is number one CC:BascoVanVeli |

jihday:nasty destiny. It's either overlooked, invited but he withdraws or removed due to injury. But why a defender as a replacement? Why not a midfielder? |

jihday:Gbamu Gbamu Jigi Jigi.....just going through Remo fc pages, big question to ask,who influenced Kayode Bankole invitation cuz Adebiyi Segiers Obassa of Benin Republic has been number one this season and from my research this what led to Bankole second fiddle with Chan team, his inactivity But why not invite Ozoemena a Chan number one and Enyimba first choice but from my findings again I was told Ozoemena is not even the best in the league. I don tire for Nigeria football system. |

Kog45:I don't know why they keep doing this things, Ezenwas time few of us complained and people were like after all no goal conceded has been his fault. Selection should be based on merit. Is he the best keeper in the league, NO. So why not go for the best in the league. It's also killing the chances of other NPFL players, cos if this one fumble, they won't blame him but the league for not producing quality players. |

solonnachi:I need to reply you again after discovered that Bankole is second choice this season....really disappointed with his invitation cuz I thought we have passed the era of Ezenwa invitation...... I can only agreed with his invitation if Chelle watched him recently. |

AndSunGorilla:Also, Amas Obasogie..... His call up made sense back the when he was an Insurance player....but the guy is now in Ethiopia... Has the standard of our football fallen to the extent that in the last on year, we have invited players from the Tanzanian and Ethiopian league ![]() |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 8:23am On Mar 13, 2025 |
Kog45:Let's be honest, there's no justification for him getting a call up over Onyeka and Uche.... It's clear that the call up will be used as a marketing strategy... All this clamour for NPFL players in the super Eagles has always and will always be for business purpose.... After 1 or 2 call up, you will find the said player in some obscure league and another player will be called to take his place, and on and on it goes.... The fact that the NFF and a section of our football stakeholders believe that inviting NPFL players to the super Eagles is a way of improving the NPFL shows that they aren't ready to tackle the root causes of the rot in the league |

I dreamt we had a successful stint under this new admin. Not in details but I saw laughter and joy and merriment on this thread. (og nla. 🤫dnt mention) I'm also bouyed by the fact we were a finalist the last time, and much of the core of the team(a young team) is still intact. Now with much better improved and motivated actors who really needs to create a beautiful story. Nothing more. They've neither won an Afcon or been to the Grand Stage. I'm sure they fired as hell... That alone gives me courage. Also, SA can't qualify ahead of us. Either they cancel the world cup or we both don't qualify, which it's not possible cuz we hav to qualify. Nothing more. |
