Chai so Wike now decides ethnic classification in Nigeria. To me I see this as more of "end justifies the means" political strategy. It's the same method APC has been using in Lagos by repeatedly amplifying a lie that Igbos said Lagos is no man's land even though such a statement has never come from any known person of Igbo descent at any time in history.

Dr Odili didn't disturb Rotimi Amaechi's government and neither did Amaechi interfere with his government , so why does he think he's larger than life by playing God on Fubara' s government.

President Tinubu probably needs to take the blame cos if he had not made Wike a minister he wouldn't have had the wherewithal and the trapping of office to be fighting his successor. We know he has been buying judges under the guise of building lodges for them and giving them expensive cars and I think his wife is a Judge too, and they are now re-paying back by awarding outlandish judgements in his favour. In better places court judgments are a reflection of the social pulse, but some of our judges are fond of awarding judgements that further inflame the society. I wish they learn!

His kind of godfatherism reminds everyone of 1999-2007, the President needs to sack him and find another way of winning Rivers State come 2027. Heating up the polity by a serving minister belongs to yesteryear politics.

You guys are either hypocrites or commenting out of ignorance. The dynamics are not the same. Odili did not support Amaechi to be governor. Odili preference was Celestine Omehia who was removed by the courts. Amaechi was a Supreme Court Governor. Amaechi did not also produce a successor as a sitting Governor His candidate were Dakuku Peterside in 2015 and Tonye Cole in 2019 respectively. Wike is the only Governor in Rivers since 1999 who was able to produce a successor successfully. Most of you guys would do worse than Wike if someone you invested in to become Governor starts hobnobing with your enemies in less than 3 months ! That is the height of wickedness. You start fighting your benefactor in 3 Months? And you go about the media looking for sympathy?

Strong and wise men, either in public and private life, once they hand over they let go completely and do not bother themselves with the day to day running of the government. Did Tony Blair interfere with the work of Gordon Brown? Did Bill Clinton rig election for Al Gore, and did Bill Clinton interfere with the work of Barack Obama?

See I happened to watch the TV after Fubara's inauguration but Wike wasn't a minister then, the event was the flag-off of a large expanse of road in PH, one could see how Wike was all over the place as if he was the Governnor, and that was more than. 3months after the swearing-in. See, I'm not from River State, just a concerned observer. The bottom line is that over-controlling men are weak people.
