Seefinish:keep quiet, Tinubu has no fault in all this drama happening in rivers. That how you people in east always blame others for your woes. It is a political fight between Wike and Fubara. Cry victim mentality. |

Jorussia:Wike should have stop at the supreme Court victory. No need for impeachment. He should have waited till 2027 to boot him out if he thinks he can. Where are the useless elders in rivers state now. They all took side differently due to their personal benefits. |

Do these legislators know that there is still life after political power? Who didn't see when they defected to APC? For the sake of President Bola Tinubu's 2027 reelection ambition, they are throwing Rivers state into unrecoverable 🔥 fire. |

Yes Fúbara may have committed impeachable offenses but then Wike and boys should soft pedals and be magnanimous in victory for the peace of Rivers state,I believe this impeachment process is unnecessary. |

Godblessme1:Shut up your mouth, if not for the likes of Ize iyamu, Jarret tenebe the Apc chairman in Edo state and others prominent Benin and Edo north leaders, Oshiomole would have given the ticket to the current deputy governor who is more popular and outspoken. Una wey be like igbos, always crying like kids. Is Oshiomole not still incharge now. Oshiomole's factor contributed about fifty percent to Okpeboho victory and that is why he can't do without Oshiomole. Who is the commissioner of health, who do you think nominated the chief of staff, Gani Audu from eskako. Go and thank firstly the great Oba of Benin who has been saying the governorship should be zoned to esan. Abure the labour party chairman from esan too, supported olumide akpata a Benin man after collecting money against his fellow esan brothers in the race. Noise maker. The illegal removal of council chairmen by Okpeboho was not his making cos Oshiomole and co has finger in it but just uses the governor to hatch their job. |

Guestmale:Do you think Fubara would have soft peddled towards Wike, the 27 HOA members and Wike's supporters in Rivers State if the supreme court judgement had been in his favour? In politics, you don't pity your enemies, you crush them when you have the power to. |

kedeojo:See brainwashing by an Agbadorian. You thought you were talking to Beati. Beati is the legendary lady who accepts anything told her. Tinubu merely wants Wike in control of Rivers State by 2027 so that Wike can once again do the fraud of election rigging in Rivers state for Tinubu, as Wike did in 2023. Tinubu compensated Wike for fraud by appointing Wike from PDP as FCT minister. |

And that, Tinubu's boys can't be everywhere pipes pass? 5 mins is too long for dynamite to destroy a pipe. I'm very sure, you are still a kid during the time of Yar'Adua, if not, you will understand what I'm saying. |

Sugarboyy:thou I want peace but you are right cos if Fubara has won at the supreme Court, Igbo Obidients will urge Fubara to even killed the lawmakers not even chasing them from rivers. Now that it backfired, they are saying Tinubu has hand in it. Did they not tell Fubara not to listen to Tinubu about representing the budget. Truly the saying that what elders sit and see, a child climbing a tree will not see it. That is the case of Tinubu and Fubara. Nzogbu nzogbu people are about to end the political journey of Fubara. Only God can rescue him. If you think there will be war if Fubara is impeached, you are decieving yourself. Law is law. Fubara just fumbled in all this. Abeg igbos pls anytime I am contesting election, pls insult me oh cos if you do, then my chances of winning is so high. Make Una no support me oh, bikko. |

Sugarboyy:Look, it's not enough for Tinubu/APC appointed court judges to turn black to become white in their judgements. Saner Nigerians (and they are in the majority) know the truth about what has been happening, especially in Rivers state, since the last presidential election when Wike stole Rivers state presidential election results on Tinubu's behalf. Tinubu and Wike will pay dearly for throwing Rivers state into calamity. |

discusant:keep decieving yourself cos you hate the truth. Where you people not urging Fubara to ignore the peaceful resolution reached in the villa in the presence of rivers elders. You igbos are about to end Fubara's governorship. It's a political war between a godfather and a godson. Wisdom is profitable. Why Fubara want to represent the budget, because he knows the implications but the Wike boys are determined to destroy him just like how Fubara would have also destroyed them if he has gotten victory. |

kedeojo:The way they were making mouth, those that were supporting Fubara and claiming Rivers residents, you would think those 27 HOA members don't reside in Rivers State anymore. They know where these guys has been holding their sittings, why haven't they gone to chased them out of Rivers State? Their own Na to come online and beat chest. Minus Fubara, Rivers State Ship 🚢 will still sail |

🛑 Opinion By Obakpee Isaac Osaheni . How Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara Outsmarted Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS and his 27 Lawmakers by simply Obeying the Supreme court Judgement that was indeed in favour of Wike and his lawmakers;- A Master stroke. | Awake Now Tv But The Yorubas supporting Wike's "state-capture" moves are too daft to know this. Now, Walk with me! So on what ground do they now impeach a Governor who have adhered to the rulings of the supreme court and the law? On the ground that the Governor refuses to allow wike to control the Resources of Rivers state & there IGR, like Tinubu did in Lagos for decades or what?? Wike Instructing his 27 lawmakers to Lock Fubara out of the Rivers state House of Assembly Complex in order to prevent Fubara from presenting the Budget to them as instructed by the supreme court is Not only another own goal to the Wike-led faction but it also signifies the obstruction of the implimentation of justice ordered by the supreme court. That itself is a treasonable offence. Lawmakers loyal to Nyesom Wike believed they had Governor Siminalayi Fubara trapped. Their strategy was straightforward: push him to his limits, provoke an emotional response, and create a scenario that would justify either his impeachment or declaring a state of emergency in Rivers State. However, Fubara managed to outsmart them. Rather than resisting or reacting impulsively, he opted for a different strategy. He accepted the Supreme Court's ruling without any objections and even agreed to re-present the budget to the House led by Amaewhule. This calculated move took his opponents by surprise. In a twist of irony, the same lawmakers who had previously imposed a strict 48-hour ultimatum on him for presenting the budget are now sidestepping it. They anticipated he would refuse, but his compliance left them without a plan. With no options left, they chose to go on recess without a scheduled return date, thereby revealing their own vulnerability and entrapment. When some people accused Fubara of weakness, they misjudged him. Although the Supreme Court's decision appeared to favor Wike’s faction, however Fubara ingeniously turned it into a strength. By publicly agreeing with their demand for compliance, he exposed their insincerity. Now they are reluctant for him to present the budget, contradicting their previous position. Unlike a typical Nigerian governor who might respond with aggression, Fubara has taken a different route. As the Chief Security Officer of Rivers State, he recognizes that his foremost responsibility is to uphold peace and safeguard lives. By not escalating tensions, he has garnered public support and deftly navigated the political traps set for him. Ultimately, Fubara has emerged as a leader who anticipates multiple moves ahead. His composed and strategic demeanor not only keeps Rivers State secure but is also gradually undermining the power struggle against him. |

One good thing about the North is that, there is no political godfather once you have finished your tenure as a governor that was the end of your political journey, every sitting governor of the northern state is the political godfather of his state. |
