You can ask your bank what way do you counter him if you know that you are innocent and settling with him is not possible. They should give you options.

Such platforms may start to be unpopular if they do not do something about it.

The only thing that crypto has solved is fast transactions and flexibility. There is not much difference between banks and crypto trading platforms like Binance. Banks' KYC requirements are even more relaxed than those of the trading platform Kyc.
