I think Samsunspor were in 3rd position before that game. The team has been playing brilliantly and I knew it would be hard for Fenerbahce to beat them, mostly after coming off a 120mins against Rangers
Galatasaray's lead extended back to six points if Fenerbahçe wins their next pending fixture.

If they draw, then it's 8, if they lose, 9 😎😎

The first African Player to score a UEFA Champions League hat trick in 2002.

The youngest African Player to score a UEFA Champions League hat trick at the age of 19 in 2002.

The first Player to score against all 20 Premier League teams he faced.

The second Premier League Player to score 4 goals in a single game for 2 different teams (Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers).

Celebrate his achievements.
Hmmm,YAK age 19 in 2002,the same YAK that was member of Sydney 2000 Olympic team camped in Ilorin and using university of Ilorin mini campus football pitch in 1999.As at then he was far above 20,Kai wetin I dey talk sef,Nigeria born player football age get as be o

Well a good scorer who just need ball on his feet in eighteen yard box and is a goal but that historical WC goal miss proved YAK wrong.

He was a proving goal scorer right from Okomu Oil fc to Julius Berger,I remember a match he scored five goals and I do not think any player has surpassed the record in NPFL.

Napoli forever downfall for treating Osimhen badly.
When Osimhen wanted to leave, they came up with all stumbling blocks and it was Kvara turn to leave even during Jan Transfer, they supported and made it easy for him

Egbon most Nigerian players that didn't pass through MRI testing any age they claim na to just off mic siddon look.

Yak was undisputably a prolific goal scorer for club and country. With Nigeria I can't put a finger as to why but he just didn't wow and it's not because of the miss against South Korea in 2010.

Yes you are right on age matter.....I had close relationship with YAK through Sunday Johnson during their camping in Ilorin and attended his wedding with Lameen Ikhana the beautiful daughter of Kadiri Ikhana.

Good goal scorer but Nigerians don't rate him much even before the WC poor performance.

I love this. Shows how terrible the tactics deployed in those 4 games were and how lax the players were too. It is terrible tactics. They need to score 5 to begin a comeback on this log. Imagine never winning all 1st halves. What's now the aim for playing?

during that era I think the most consistent goal scorers out of Africa better than the Yak were Drogba and Eto’o

If not for this two Yak stood a good chance of Atleast winning 1 Apoty judging by his going scoring exploits in the EPL

Also he didn’t really had a remarkable national team career with the super eagles

There must have been questionable officiating, "just keeping it real".
Let me also keep it real and call u bad belle grin
But seriously the only questionable call went in favour of Shooting Stars. They should have been down to 10 going into the 2nd half but the ref gave a yellow for a last man tackle that took a clear goal scoring opportunity away.
I don't think there is a team in Nigeria that gets cheated at home more than Akwa United. That stadium is too safe for Nigerian referees. Some refs need to know that a slap can come at any time grin
