CassyNg:You can go and apply, while doing ZAB if you have the means. If they don't accept it, atleast tour have ZAB in waiting |

pls the schools reports needed, they stated all primary and secondary schools reports, is it primary school leaving cert., is that enough for primary school? For secondary schools, is junior WAEC certificate important? is only WAEC okay? or must i include NECO as well? pls help @Hannania |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 7:04pm On Mar 17, 2025 |
victorygiven:Original primary cert and either WAEC or NECO. No need for junior WAEC. Stop bothering yourself with all these. When you upload they'll give you an update on changes. So stop stressing. For your information, the waiting time has increased to 6 months currently |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 9:19am On Mar 18, 2025 |
okonkwofabian51:They don't ask much. These are the major questions from those who attended. 1. Why Germany 2. What will you do if you don't get a job 3. Who will you be staying with 4. Questions regarding your education from primary to secondary school to university with exact dates 5. They don't need your CV and motivational letter If you apply as a skilled worker 6. They'll ask you all details about work experience and input it. Before these, they'll take your 10 fingers thumbprint and pay the €75 visa fee. That's all |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 9:23am On Mar 18, 2025 |
teflondon1124:You can't use that in Nigeria. You only provide one of these: 1. Block account evidence in a German account(€13,092) 2. Sponsorship letter 3. Part time contract of 20hrs per week at least €1091 |

Hello and thanks to you all for making and contributing to this thread. This is something I am considering and I want to go for it. The online portal says this; "The German Mission is currently very busy The estimated waiting time is: approx. 2-6 months." As ZAB (My university and and degree are both listed but the degree isn't listed under my university) takes about 4 months now, do I wait to have it before I upload my supporting documents or can I submit my visa application and then submit the individual Certificate Evaluation by ZAB later? The portal says I fulfil the requirement based on the questionnaire I filled out. I have a Computer Science degree and about 5 years of working experience. Is there anything I should have in mind? |

your degree is listed is enough not important to be listed under your university Daniel2802: |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Daniel2802(m): 5:14pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
victorygiven:Okay, so I should just screenshot the Anabin page that lists my degree just like this and upload on the online portal right?

teflondon1124:True, most of the hurdles when it comes to applying for visa is being in Nigeria and applying for it. People who relocate find it very easy to get visas when they apply. I would like to ask some questions to everyone here: 1. Filling employment under "Purpose of stay in the Federal Republic of Germany" - This is accurate right? 2. Also the reference part, can it be anybody? What is better, reference person or Educational establishment/company/organisation? Does the reference person have to physically do anything? 3. What are your means of support in the Federal Republic of Germany - filling Blocked Account is okay? 4. Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed - No. 5. Do you have health insurance (for a longer stay) for the Federal Republic of Germany - I am to get health insurance before applying? What are the options? |

Click on it, it will load a page that shows if it complies, that is what they wanna see, you can save as pdf and upload it to your document section Daniel2802: |

Hello everyone, so I have been stocked in the stage of providing my proof of funding. The person I have been banking on to assist with either a declaration of commitment or block account funds is not seeming to be responsive. Does anyone know of a legitimate means I can access to lend the funds to be blocked? Treat with urgency please, thanks! |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 3:57pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
Daniel2802:You can take your health insurance on that day of appointment or do it and upload. It's preferred to have a reference in Germany. If you don't have, you can use an establishment here in Nigeria. They need it to confirm some details if needs be |

Hannania you're doing a good job on this thread! ![]() Please after finally joining the waiting list, what else is to be done? Are the applicants supposed to wait for the embassy to contact them or what? To the house: Has anyone been able to get an appointment for Opportunity Card so far? I mean those who applied in Nigeria. If so, how were you contacted? Thanks! |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Daniel2802(m): 9:49pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
Hannania:Thanks so much, also the Anabin database showing the degree is enough right? I don't have to pay for ZAB. I have a reference in Germany already, but I haven't done the blocked account yet. I can do that some days to the visa appointment right? I'll also stall the insurance to that period. You have been helpful. Thanks. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 11:28pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
santaclaws:When it's your turn, you'll get an email notice and your portal will be activated for you to review your details, edit, and make any corrections before sending for preliminary review. When they've made the review and you've done all the corrections, your portal will change to the attached photo, and you'll be asked to book an appointment. There are dates readily available for opportunity card applicants. You can even book an appointment for this coming Monday.

Hannania:Sharp! This is well detailed boss! Thanks! 🙏🏾 Since there are dates available, I wonder why the waiting period is showing 2-6 months on their portal... Hopefully it won't be that long sha. |
