That Lagos is smelly is nothing anyone can hide and whoever tries to rationalize that is not ready for progress. I remember the first time I entered Lagos in 2002 for a gospel crusade, the smell that greeted me then at Ojota is something I can never forget. 23 years on and the smell is still very much there. The same 23 years in some other countries and you'll barely be able to recognise the landscape due to high tech infrastructural development!

I wonder why the girl did not call out her own state governor like I saw on her trending video where she left inflation matters and instead went on a rant about how lagos was smelly and filled with potholes, yet her tiktok videos are full of her enjoying night life in lagos and eating at posh restaurants in the same smelly state.

If I were that girl, since Lagos is smelly, and for the sake of my mental health, I would just relocate to another state that smells of Lavender and strawberry. I hope she won't miss the dirty December and the smelly lagoon she posted on her tiktok though
