| Hilarious Video Of Oyinbo Man In Lagos Complaining About Inflation In Nigeria by Glimpsetv(op): 1:00am On Mar 18, 2025 |
A trending video shows an American man, married to a Nigerian woman, passionately lamenting the rising cost of living in Nigeria. Holding a bottle of water, he complained that he used to buy the same bottle for just 100 naira, but now it costs 250 naira. He added that even a bottle of Coke now sells for 500 naira, and Uber fares have become outrageous. He explained that he spent 7,000 naira on a trip to Mushin, whereas that amount could have taken him to Lagos Island. He went on to express his frustration, saying that 200 naira can now only get a very tiny portion of puff-puff. When he attempted to buy garri for 200 naira, he was told the minimum amount he could get was 400 naira. "How do people even eat?" he wondered aloud. He also noted that pure water, which used to cost just 20 naira, is now selling for 50 naira. What makes his reaction even funnier is the way he speaks Pidgin English, frequently hissing in frustration as he expresses himself. The video, shared by his wife on their Instagram page, has since gone viral, attracting a lot of reactions. Watch the funny video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0fBt-ZuwrQ?si=hf8cZkiJWgzU2cl2

Unfortunately the devaluation, tax and monies generated by the government goes into their deep private pockets of cabal / cronies in government. Only a fraction is used for Nigerian people. Everything is politics to them. |

Baba is serious and I do not see what should amuse anybody there . Sometimes, people don't know how serious you are until you are really serious. Our politicians read online comments too. You can't expect someone to believe that you're really hungry/suffering and yet, everything is viewed as cruise on comment section, and having the same masses paying more attention to celebrity gossips than the country at stake. Oh no, you can't be serious, which means one thing "it is not that bad"... |

Tokunbo Wahab should come and tell us how dirty this man's country is. Lagos Govt is the most tribalized govt in Africa. Their hatred for anything SE is topnotch. See how they automatically made Raye an Igbo girl even when she's from cross River. Their hatred for the people of SE is unimaginable. On his Twitter account he has been busy publishing and defaming Igbos living in Lagos over what Raye said. Last year Davido complained bitterly about the APC regime, he was not roasted as much as Raye was. They just want to bully everyone into silence while leveraging on the Igbos. Funny enough, the Igbos in their wisdom have been mute from the inception of the inglorious govt. Is the tiubu regime not a very terrible regime? Are things not more expensive today, to the tune of over 500%? Your hatred for the Igbos is a confirmation that without the Igbos, blood will dry off your veins. Ndi nzuzu |
