I shared it immediately it went on discount. It was probably someone on nairaland who got the rest after I posted because it was not quite long I posted it went out of stock. You were the one that wasn’t online on nairaland or didn’t check the thread
I am actually in support of a WhatsApp group too for timely updates but people here have kicked against it

I rather sell the Delta 2 altogether and upgrade to a Delta with higher solar input. Getting the Delta 2 extra battery means I can only use grid light to charge it to attain full charge. But with solar, it is hardly attainable before the sun goes down...and the peak is between 11-2 pm.

Instead, I will get the Delta 2 max battery with it...

But the thing is, it is preferable to upgrade to Delta 2 max with 1000 solar input capacity and 2k battery capacity in a single unit.

Anything above that, you are advised to go for a traditional solar setup, as you can get more for your money.

*the electric poles are still down. They are yet to fix our light, and rain will threaten small with wind now, as if e dey warn day no come today to do work on it.

Now, the power of the Delta 2 shines, giving me light for like 12 hrs + in a day.
Hmm. I’ll test this your theory. Hopefully both can fully charge with solar
Also, even at the current cheap price of the D2 max which is only for a limited time, you’ll still probably need to add at least 650k to your Delta 2 to get the Delta 2 max which is quite a lot and almost the current price of the Delta 2 on a promo price
The Delta 2 extra battery was a good deal at 400k. It’s sad only two units were available

Yea, but the MPPT for Delta 2 Max is 1000 watts...which is less pain compared to 500 watts input. One can wait for when they will crash the price of the D2 Max.

You’re forgetting that’s also extra expenses because that’s an additional solar panel. It might take time for price to crash further. Prices are probably going back up after Tech Week

The way the Ecoflow Delta 2 price keeps crashing, i think they wanna sell out and bring in the Delta 3.
There’s huge sales on Ecoflow products due to Tech Week.
It really pain me seriously. I wanted to buy D2 Max two weeks ago but I only had was 1.5m. Now, it's currently being sold at 1.360m.

Is D2 max battery compatible with ordinary D2 huh

A 3 bedroom will comfortably run on D2 max with extra battery and two 600+ watts plus panels considering use of minimal every saving appliances huh

I am about advising someone to go for it

I think it's not about the size of the house or room
It based on their energy consumption

What appliances are they going to use

Just like u mentioned
Using energy saving appliances will help alot

D2 max battery is compatible with D2 and will give extra run time. What do you mean two 600+ watts panel? I’m not sure adding extra battery will increase the solar max input of D2 which is 500w.
I actually wish i went for the 590w or 600+ Jinko panel instead of the 555w but many people here thought it will be overloading and were already fixated on the 555w. I would have been getting 400-450w solar input peak time or even 500 on my D2.

For new users, if it’s within your budget and the specs of the solar panel meets the specs of your Delta 2, i’ll advise going for the 590w or 620w Jinko Solar panel. Don’t follow the 555w trend and make the same mistake most of us did!

Spot on !
If I had my ways too , I'd have gone for the 600+ watts panel ... Getting a D2 max extra battery for d2 seems to be an unreasonable idea. Fine you're going to get longer backups but charging will rely solely on grid to complement because to even charge ordinary D2 and it's extra battery with solar seems impossible except complemented with grid.

I usually do not support the idea of charging these devices using grid. It defeats the whole essence of the purpose. Grid can always come in as emergencies or when u find it extremely difficult to get rays.

Besides you're increasing your power consumption by charging with grid especially if you're on prepaid.

Lastly,

I wasn't talking about increasing the wattage input for D2 of course I know.

You’re the one enjoying this 555w panel. My highest so far is 406w. Is it the placement or it’s just really sunny over there?

I’ll charge the D2 and the extra battery when it arrives with solar and see if I can get both of them fully charged with mild to moderate usage. Will the extra battery draw a lot of battery from the Delta 2 for charging? Because I know it’s the Delta 2 that charges the extra battery

I am not sure...of course, it sunny here in Osun. The weather is sunny despite the clouds. I think it may have to do with your placement.

1) However, I cleaned the residue of the harmattana after the first rain (with Morning Fresh, water, and a mop). If it is where you can easily clean it, please do.

2) I changed it from a horizontal position to a vertical placement.

3) Lastly, I stopped placing it directly on the roof and put the edge on a wooden 2x2 to allow air underneath.

That's it.

About 3 weeks ago, thieves entered my apartment whilst l was at work and stole my Ecoflow D2, Tv and other items.

They even carried the Box for the D2 and solar connector.

Omo, l am still perplexed as l looked my door in the morning and meet my door locked when l returned from work.

And it's not like there was any forced entry.

Well, that 's the average, but with no dark clouds...I easily hit 400+ back to back, especially during solar noon.
