Hello,

Can someone please post the STEPS FOR APPLYING FOR A CPF here in Nigeria including

- Required documents to apply
-Website to apply through
-How long after application it takes to receive the CPF
-How to schedule an appointment to submit the hard copy documents (It seems the embassy will not let you in except you have a reason to be there)
Anyone, please? I sent an email to the LAG embassy about applying for CPF but received no response

I applied for Brazil student visa since January. I was asked to send my passport and documents after 2 weeks. My visa status has been under review for more than a month now. My master's programme started since 10th February and I have tried reaching out to the embassy through emails and calls but no response. I don't know why the delay, please what should I do?

Do you use funding scholarship to apply or your personal bank account as proof of fund?

Good day
Please its been one month now, they send passport is ready for collection via courier, and I didnt get the passport
When you send your document via courier to the embassy and prepay for return, the courier company gives you 2 tracking numbers. One for tracking the sending and the second for tracking the return delivery.
So use the second tracking number to check the status of your package from the courier company website.

There is a dedicated thread for students going to brazil. I think it would be more useful and suitable for you.

Pls niaralanders.im leaving for Brazil soon. Where in Brazil can I find Nigerians. So I can book for air BNB accommodations around.

Thank
This depends on what your purpose is in Brazil and what you want. For example, I live in Sao Paulo and we live in a middle income neighbourhood, unfortunately you won't find a lot of nigerians here.

Guys, please help. I’m trying to apply for language school in Brazil for 1 year. I’m applying from South Africa. What’s the chances of getting my visa approved?

hello please. I am not sure what your chances could be like but you know there are language centres in Nigeria and I think in other countries too. Why not try a postgrad?

Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by niyyie(m):
Yes. You need to enter Brazil with all the necessary documents for this to be possible.

Example: your Police Clearance Certificate and Birth Certificate are already authenticated.

A lawyer (or other qualified personnel) would fill the online form, guide on the other documents and book the appointment with Policia Federal for you to submit the application.

I don’t think the Brazilian Embassy in Nigeria processes the Digital Nomad Visa.

Does anyone know about Portuguese language courses in Brazil? Can you attend with a dependent, and is it worthwhile to enroll? Also, what’s the pathway to permanent residency?

There are Portuguese language courses that help you get study visa but the possibility of getting a study visa with one is very low. You can come on a tourist visa and switch to a study permit with a Portuguese language course but it's usually for a maximum of 1 year.

The best option would be to a do postgraduate program that will allow you stay for a longer period. They are free also.

Other pathways include childbirth, stable Union, marriage.
