minfelix:Nothing administrative there, it was a dead rubber game, the team has already qualified, Ebuehi was getting back into the team. What work for Shehu was that he has a Godfather (Musa) in the team already, and he was said to be a versatile player just like Awaziem |

MetalJigsaw:You wanna dominate games or win games? We dominated Lesotho and Zimbabwe and yet we couldn't get all 3 points |

minfelix:Was Hassan better than Onyeka at Afcon. Hassan only had one good game at Afcon, correct me if I'm wrong. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 3:35pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
minfelix:I was already a Super Eagles fan when we had Garba Lawal, Tijani Babangida Celestine babayaro (it was later we got to know he and his brother are not northerners) as a mainstay of the team. These were good players. Musa was good. Shehu was good until he was no longer good. The issue about quota comes up whenever players who do not merit an invite get invited over players who are more deserving. I'm sure if Iheanacho had been invited, it would have been criticized. Yusuf I have no issue with. It's Aribo who edged out Onyeka. But you see that chance waster called Umar? Na quota candidate him be. |

zicky:The godfather of Shehu was not Musa. It was an Emir. Musa ke? |

Samueltemi337:What are you saying man. How do you intend to win games if you don't dominate? How many goals did we even score? And most of those teams were below us. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Samueltemi337(m): 3:46pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
MetalJigsaw:The games you claim we didn't dominate at Afcon didn't we win them? Why are you contradicting yourself |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by MetalJigsaw(m): 3:48pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
Samueltemi337:Brother, a two man midfield is never a good idea, that's the point. Does winning by 1-0 against way smaller teams inspire confidence? You think that is the ideal approach? Im done with this I'm done with you |

minfelix:why were fans not shouting quota system during Garba lawal and Babagida time, do you know how many goal Onuachu was scoring before he was invited to the SE and fans still talk against his inclusion in the team. Maybe if he was from the north you for bring up the northern abi Hausa agenda |

MetalJigsaw:I said likely lineup, based on his preference for two strikers during his time with Mali. A winger has to be sacrificed to accommodate 2 strikers. Chelle might go with one on Friday. It's all hypothetical at this point till the lineup comes out on Friday. |

zicky:That was before he got injured. That injury shook him and his confidence together. He played well in our first game against EQG. He's not bad. |

MetalJigsaw:Kanu and Agali were good for us,especially Kanu. Kanu's intelligence, skills and ingenuity on the pitch were top class for any coach to ignore him because of his height or stature. Agali was effective and strong on the air. All these cannot be said about Sadiq as far as Super Eagles is concerned. Westerhorf,Bonfre Jo and Mujtahida was very right in taking specific consideration in picking their players especially the back four and the midfield. A well built balanced super eagles back four and midfield stand a better chance of winning a tournament like AFCON and going far in the WC than the lightweight players. |

Clint02:When was his last assist, the main point is that Ndidi cannot shield the defence like he used to and his dwindling explosiveness have highlighted his lack of composure on the ball even more |
