Musa was good. Shehu was good until he was no longer good.

The issue about quota comes up whenever players who do not merit an invite get invited over players who are more deserving.

I'm sure if Iheanacho had been invited, it would have been criticized. Yusuf I have no issue with. It's Aribo who edged out Onyeka.

See if I'm the coach of the SE, I will never call up strikers like Onuachu or Sadiq. From your body build, I will disqualify you. If I chose tall strikers your body shape would be like that of Osimhen or Rashidi - strong and quick with good balance. Once you have clumsiness, you are disqualified.

In short not just strikers, all my players. I think Westerhof used some kind of physical metric to chose his players.

I must however say that Papilo was an exceptional freak of nature. He was just too slick, too skillful. I will make room for that kind of player any day, anytime

I said likely lineup, based on his preference for two strikers during his time with Mali. A winger has to be sacrificed to accommodate 2 strikers. Chelle might go with one on Friday. It's all hypothetical at this point till the lineup comes out on Friday.

Kanu and Agali were good for us,especially Kanu.
Kanu's intelligence,skills and ingenuity on the pitch were top class for any coach to ignore him because of his height or stature.

Agali was effective and strong on the air.
All these cannot be said about Sadiq as far as Super Eagles is concerned.

Westerhorf,Bonfre Jo and Mujtahida was very right in taking specific consideration in picking their players especially the back four and the midfield.

A well built balanced super eagles back four and midfield stand a better chance of winning a tournament like AFCON and going far in the WC than the lightweight players.
