You only need the full recovery ROM. Hope the download didn't break at any point?

No it didn't break. I used WiFi instead mobile data

I changed the region to Morocco and the update was able to go through. Something I found on Reddit. However, apps are still crashing after updating and rebooting several times

I downloaded the gcam app and then downloaded and installed the gcam version 9.6 and android 12 but the app has refused to launch.

I don't understand where Android 12 comes in. If you are downloading an old GCam for a newer Android Version you are wasting your time. Consult your phone telegram photography channel and see Gcams your fellow users are using.

Poco X7 Pro or the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.

The only thing the Redmi has is main camera, ingress protection.

The X7 Pro has a better performance.

The most obvious advantage is Simultaneous Data and Voice use while on LTE.

Your phone wouldn't need to step down to 3G just to receive a phone call or sms
