fkelly:I don't exchange words with illiterates. A community with modular refinery and a leading engine, you calling it a swamp, a community that has hosted Shell, chevron and it's like, you're calling it a swamp, a community that has light with tarred road you calling it a swamp, a community with oil wells you're calling it a swamp, this shows how your brain is stiff and razz. Like i said, this will be my last reply to you, i won't engage in a banter with someone who is deluded and could call a working community a swamp. Have a nice day Son. |

Bestmanfornow:More than half or close to three quarters of cash from this crude oil goes to the 20 states and hundreds of local government areas proliferated by northern military dictators in the old Northern region of Nigeria. They left only 17states and few local government areas in the two southern regions . There should have been more states in the two southern regions because landmass or population figures are NEVER used as criterion to determine where federating units can be created in a country formed by different regions. If Nigeria is not restructured politically, the two southern regions of 1960 continue to be shortchanged by the north, politically and economically.

codemaniacs:I do that. I have done so on several threads here to including that they wished to use Governor Otti's electrification effort to mock the SW. I generally praise whatever they say Igbo States and leaders are achieving, as a secure Yoruba man, while expressly advising them to gravitate towards that success in the SE permanently and leave the SW because I believe Yorubas are better off without covetous upsurpers who are enemies-within in reality. . Most Yorubas are not interested in whatever Igbos are doing. We are happy with our land, our culture and way of life. This is why, of the major ethnic group, Yorubas are the least itinerant in Nigeria often preferring to travel abroad than to other region of Nigeria while many are trooping into the SW validating the fact the region is by far the best to live in today. What I always object to is the crap they spew in the desperation to convince the world they are surpassing Yorubas. As you state "the sky is big enough for every state to thrive". Those who do not think like that, I.e Igbos, should be taken to task. |

Stolen:Charity begins at home. Not having Biafra yet does not mean you cannot prove to the world you are serious about secession and being on your own by staying in your native SE and making it the envy of Nigeria and Africa. You claim to have 200 Billionaires richer than Lagos in every SE State. If you Igbos have homogeneity of ideas and vision then why is there never consensus action from you guys? Why can you all not stay in the SE so that rich and poor can join hands to create a geographical space greater than Singapore that will testify to your supremacist rants more than words and braggart nuisance, you constitute yourselves into daily online, will ever achieve ? You street level rats shout Biafra, yet you are leaving the SE daily for other parts of Nigeria, while your political leaders are the embodiment of 'One Nigeria' adherents. Can you now not see why no one takes your Biafra noise seriously I.e it lack of "charity begins at home" sincerity and focus. |

Bendeco02:Ditto a lot of oil wells in Abia....probably Imo too! I saw a report few months ago where the Abia commissioner overseeing the oil and gas industry in the state was lamenting that a lot of oil wells were capped by the regulatory bodies responsible, and that the state gov't was working to get them opened again. I think part of what's helping Anambra is the peaceful and conducive environment in which the oil companies can operate. The indigenes of the state have other sources of income besides being so dependent on the oil companies! |

Bendeco02:.Confirm something. If I may add, all other states like imo, abia, ebonyi (also has titanium), and enugu. Most of the oil wells in these areas are piped underground and sent to the sea or to the north or to parts of taraba; just to hide them for the igbos. These are the private pipes that one useless person from the north will collect and then be bragging about being rich. All that rubbish will stop very soon. Is just that the 15% aloof igbos are natural slaves, let me say dedicated slaves and useless aloofs. |

UltraSolid:Learn to study a people before you talk about them, Igbos don't leave the south east because it is bad but because it is their nature to explore other places for opportunities, even if the southeast today is better than UAE we will still travel to other places even poorer than the southeast to explore more opportunities, that is why there is a saying that any place(good or bad) you go to and you don't see an Igbo man run away from there, we behave like the Chinese in that aspect, you seeing Chinese men in every country does not mean China is a bad place, so you guys need to stop that stupid narrative, or are you trying to say that Zamfara or Bornu is better than any state in the south east, but you still see Igbos there doing business in their numbers... |

I never talk Asokoro, Guizape, Wuse, Area 1, Gwarinoa, Kubwa extension, I can't even mention all But you see Nasir El Rufai, he planned Abuja excellently This is not beefing. Just stating facts By the way Northerners are not chasing anyone away. They are very very accommodating |

djon78:We are supposed to take yours and his untrained anecdotal opinion above the submissions of experts who expect Abuja's growth to be slower than that of Lagos for the foreseeable future? You guys are incorrigible walahi. Anyone will tell you Lagos has an expansive economy. The most dynamic, most promising and most opportuned in Nigeria by far. Only Igbos, to spite Yorubas with their doom and gloom forecast for anything SW-affiliated, would ludicrously indicate Abuja, a civil servant and politicians enclave, has even the most minute of real innate chance to catch up with lagos economically let alone surpass her. Of course facts and reality mean nothing to you lot so I'll let you keep day-dreaming and backing each other clannishly and devoid off logic. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/01/14/why-no-state-can-catch-up-with-lagos-economically/
