the naija boys in that team know what to do lol
as for me i am praying for South Africa to slip once and then lose to us in their back yard. on our part, we just have to win our remaining games
we need to enter september matches with trailing SA on just 2points, it will be possible if Benin holds them to a draw…March fixtures will most likely end in
SA 11
Rwa 10
Nig 9
Ben 9
Les 5
Zim 3

Benin will double up i know, Papi rohr wont wanna lose that game after a poor draw against Zimbabw…e sure me pa

Benin and Rwanda will want to win badly

Benin win means they get 11points
Rwanda win means they get 10points
Nigerian win means 9points

This makes it 11, 10, 10, 9 after Tuesday game. SA must not win. Rwanda also.

If Nigeria and Lesotho win we get 9 and 8 and rwanda drops.

Best result is a Benin SA draw. Nigeria goes 2nd straight by GD. And 2 points behind SA.

Either way, Benin must Win or Draw to give us the advantage while we win ours. But Rwanda winning will be a thorn
Let them win Lesotho no wahala, their next game after Lesotho is against us in Uyo…they go come chop am again

No excuses for Tolu because I'm quite familiar with his style. He always plays with his back to the goal. He never takes on defenders or breath down on goalkeepers while with the ball. What he showed today is his typical game style, and I will reiterate, he had no reason running away from the goal with the ball in that position as a striker. He was supposed to take on those defenders to force a save from the goalkeeper or play his man on.
How striker go dey play with his back to the goal. All this woke football of nowadays.

Rashidi, Batistuta, Ronaldo de Lima, Kluivert dem didn't play this way.

And his presence couldn't stop Chellechukwu's Masterclass.

Like I said before this game.... I like the dream I see of Chelle and this team especially in attack.

He also seems to have a good idea of what to do with our midfield talents. I like the way he used Alhassan on the right (as RB) to keep possession plays with Onyedika right in the middle of the action too alongside Iwobi further forward spraying some delightful visionary passes. Damn. Infact there was one he fed to Arokodare that the lad should have driven to goal with but decided to fall back. I was like what a waste of a sumptuous pass.

Just what I was waiting for. Full Match highlights from the stables of our very own, The Marvellous Basco.

The video coming right after he hit 100k subscribers. Make I enjoy Chelle's first game in charge away in a nation we haven't won a game in till today.

We didn't win in Rwanda in the time of Okocha, Kanu, Aghahowa and co but today, Chellechukwu started not just with a solid win but a statement win. Let us enjoy.

Victor Osimhen's brace against Rwanda today means he has scored:

- Nigeria's goals against Rwanda in Rwanda since 2005
- 2 goals in his first 2026 World Cup qualifying game
- 2 goals in his first international game for 2025
- 8 goals in his last four games for club and country
- 2 goals to cement his position as the second all-time top scorer for the Nigerian national team (25)

So painful that either Madueke or Adeyemi or even Nwaneri refused to play for Nigeria. It would have made the SE a balance team because Chukwueze wing right now doesn't contribute anything meaningful in matches

Yeah!
Atleast another 5 more goals for Osimhen in the last 5 matches to make his goals 30.
Bearing injuries, I foresee Osimhen scoring upto 45-50 goals before retiring
