Yeah!
Atleast another 5 more goals for Osimhen in the last 5 matches to make his goals 30.
Bearing injuries, I foresee Osimhen scoring upto 45-50 goals before retiring
True

So painful that either Madueke or Adeyemi or even Nwaneri refused to play for Nigeria. It would have made the SE a balance team because Chukwueze wing right now doesn't contribute anything meaningful in matches
we really need to start scouting wingers. Simon is close to 30, chukwueze is just on and off, Ejike na awilo dancer, the only reliable one we hv currently is Lookman

There is this young Swedish born winger signed by RC Lens, saw few of his games and bobo is explosive and lively. I think he plays for the Swedish U20/21 team currently. Such players can be reached out to

We really need young wingers to be integrated to the team gradually

Like I hv always said SA is the biggest challenge in this group and I pray they drop points as the qualifiers goes
We will need just that wee bit of luck.

exactly, even if we don’t make it to World Cup which I pray doesn’t happen the NFF should retain Chelle and allow him to take the team to the afcon

That same Ejuke would have done better than Chukwueze and Simon today.
Most times when I watch Yamal play, a 17year old winger, I just shake my head for Chukwueze.
I can't remember the last time Chukwueze dribble passed a defender or scored a cutler, something that other left footed average wingers do all over the world 🌎

Add Uche, Onyeka and Bashiru to the midfield and we are good to go. Not all countries can't boast of having Pedri and his likes.
I liked Yusuf ball control today even though he was being played out of position and was making wrong decisions when with the ball

We are beating Zimbabwe atleast by 3 goals.
One thing about these smaller teams, Nigeria should always try to score them early and they will lose total concentration...they won't know either to attack or to continue playing defensively

it won’t gel after few days of training and 1 official match

He will keep on trying players until he finally assemble a unit that is capable to face any team in the world

It’s a gradual process

Match highlights

Nice post. I missed the game, but nice getting to see this highlights of the game. Although I watched the early part of the game and what impressed me is seeing an improvement in our tactical defending. Most especially from Bassey and Aina. Camera was too far to really watch Bright. I liked seeing Ndidi staying focused in helping the defence but still lacked some positional play mobility that made build-up play a bit lethargic.

I still feel it is too early to understand how good Chelle can have us playing because the guys are still adapting to his tactics. It seems promising but we need to keep watching. I hope I get a good chance to study his game keenly in the next match.

From the clip, I see we still have a huge gap in our transitions. The players fail to utilize gaps and resorted in disjointed passes. I believe our head coach will need to work on that. Even though that will take time for the players to get it right. However, I don't think it is that difficult to understand.
