We didn't even talk about how a 17.00 odd(ed) Somalia held a 1.09 odd(ed) Guinea with Serhou Guirassy to a 0–0 draw yesterday.

African football hard o... That's why I believe that if we make it to the World Cup we'll perform well. Na this qualifying hard pass the World Cup itself 😂
Omo, Guinea had 29 shots, 15 on target, 12 corners, no goal 🙆🏾‍♂️

Who be that bloody goalkeeper? 😂

Bro, I'm just rewatching the match. See that devil of a goalkeeper saved that Simon curler. If not those kind of zippy goals by Osimhen, how would we have scored that guy? Guy is a first rate shot stopper
I'm just thinking of how we would have played another drab draw if osimhen never showed up. Having a player like him is the best thing in the world but knowing that his absence means no win or a draw is very depressing. The conversation we would have been having now if he started the qualifiers with us could have been how we should win to create gap between us and the second place not and not begging rohr to do us a favor.

Just went to watch the press conference Éric Chelle did after that AFCON water pouring stuff and it just boosted my respect for him more. The man is calm and composed. The kind wicked and horrible questions them just dey stone the man, he kept his cool all through, I come dey pity am... 😂

One journalist said " you lost the game even with Cote d'Ivoire down two men, don't you think you're a bad loser?"

He replied, "I know I am a bad loser... Blah blah blah" the man dey calm and focused die...

Bro, you no lie

When Osimhen slipped in the opening minutes of the match, I thought he sprained his ankle and that was the end of his participation.

My heart beat doubled and I panic no be small.

I was just praying silently, God abeg, God abeg, God abeg.

When he got up and continued the game, I heaved a huge sigh of relief and my heartbeat normalized.

The fact is we have become too dependent on Osimhen.

This is not helped by the fact that the other strikers have not stepped up in his absence.

I pray Osimhen is available for all our remaining matches cos he's the proven goal scorer of the team

Kwesi Appiah is doing well with the Sudanese team. Meanwhile they are playing their home matches in Libya, Unfortunately, Senegal couldn't take the advantage. They are 3rd in the group with 9 points while Sudan leads with 11pts

UPDATE BRUH

Christantus Uche had €3M added to his market value in the new update, but he's still joint-second tho (now €8M).

Good upgrade, shows his quality 🔥 he suppose change club by summer sha.
Lol that boy is worth more than that
Let any club prize him
You’d see that the club would ask for probably double that amount
Lookman was also valued at 30m in November until people made comments and videos about how cheap a black African player is
Next thing that happened was an increase to 55 million euros in January lol
Transfer mkt isn’t absolutely accurate
Clubs tend to pay higher than the value stipulated on that site

So good to have him back. The timeline for his return was April 2025 so it is great to see him already training as we approach the end of March.

There's a reason why Osimhen has that level of balance.

If You're hoping on Benin to get a result in their match (which is supposedly a home game for Benin) against SA, just know that the match will be played in Durban South Africa.

It's saddening to think we have no replacement for him. Beyond football, it is his hunger, his desire that animates the whole team. No one else has that energy.

we need to remain calm…they were very fortunate to unlock Lesotho in the 63rd mins otherwise it was heading for a draw..Lets hope Benin will clip them…a win for Benin puts Nigeria on an 80% chance of 9ja qualifying a draw reduces it to like 70%chance.

1. A win for Benin and Nigeria and draw for Rwanda
Ben 11
SA 10
Nig 9
Rwa 8
Two point trailing the leader

2. A draw for Benin, win for Nigeria and win for Rwa
SA 11
Rwa 10
Nig 9
Ben 9
two points trailing the leaders

3. A draw for Benin, win for Nigeria and draw for Rwa
SA 11
Nig 9
Ben 9
Rwa 8

4. A win for SA, win for 9ja win for Rwa
SA 13
Rwa 10
Nig 9
Ben 8
four points trailing the leader

5. A win for SA, win for 9ja draw for Rwa
SA 13
Nig 9
Ben 8
Rwa 8
four points trailing the leaders

6. A win for Benin, win for rwanda and win for 9ja
Ben 11
SA 10
Rwa 10
Nig 9

so choose the one you want🤣, as we dey look Ben v SA, we should also remember say Rwa dey pursue us sef

That hunger is what is lacking in most of the other players, I saw in the Rwanda game a defensive clearance from osihmen as if he was a defender I almost shouted, if it was the other defenders they won’t have been that swift, the guy does too much and it’s worrying. This is why he gases out like after the 70th minute when you could still need a crucial goal from a player of his calibre.

But for the new coach and his stance on running and chasing the ball most of our players would have been too pedestrian in the Rwandan game. We need at least four other players to have the kind of zeal osihmen has and we would be fine. This switching on and off most of them are doing I just tire.
