Did they say 'God's Kingdom is near' some 2,000 years ago?
Has God's Kingdom come ever since then?
If God's Kingdom hasn't come do you still count both men as real prophets?

Well I have never considered JWs as prophets nor Mathew or anyone who didn't receive any revelations from God directly. If you now claim JWs are prophets. I need to be convinced of your prophethood. Up till now I have never considered JWs as prophets nor refer to JWs as such in my posts. Maybe I am wrong for that, teach me about it.

The Kingdom of God is at hand or near to people living in John's time because he is the prophet who will usher in the ministry of Christ so anyone living then could become one of those that will rule with Christ in his Kingdom and that is exactly what happened to some of John's disciples.

John the baptist expected Jesus to start ruling in the first century so when he was imprisoned for so long and Jesus didn't come to rescue him John began questioning Jesus' authenticity saying "are you the Christ or should we expect someone else?" Jesus' disciples also proclaimed the same message for years along with Jesus so after Jesus' resurrection they asked him if he's starting his government {Act 1:7} this shows that all believers in Christ since then had partial understanding of God's Kingdom! 1Corinthans 13:9

So if you follow those saying God's modern day worshipers are false prophets you will find out that there is no substantial evidence to prove it because they are performing in line with what they are proclaiming just as John the baptist and Jesus' disciples did in the first century while people living then were criticizing them!

So instead of forming alliance with those whose intentions is not specific {Exodus 23:1-2} a real faithful person will figure out why some people whose beliefs are not unique in a sense gather around a group they all know their mission and beliefs to antagonize them.
