Very nice article. Correct to the last detail.

The Zimbabwe game will definitely tell or show us more.

Against Zimbabwe, we should watch out for their most dangerous player Munetsi of Wolves, he loves to make runs through the middle and very difficult to stop. Aina or Onyemachi should watch for zemura of Udinese very direct and dangerous from the right wing. We should pray the Zambian Goal keepers village people followed him to Nigeria, he makes so many comical errors.

Honestly I wish someone can tell coach chelle to play this players in their appropriate position. His formation though quite okay would be very effective if he allows this players in their natural position
Nothing like that!!!
The team set up was very ok.

Rwanda isn't rated the most clean country in africa and among the top in the world for nothing. It has nothing to do with their stadium, it's their general culture.
Imagine just 1994 the country was destroyed and at the end, they all joined together to rebuild. No victor no vanquished. But my country na the other way round.

Aribo as a Left Winger and Onyedika as a Right winger? Na man you be.
Even if the coach is to deploy this formation, it should be against superior countries and Aina Should replace Onyedika as a Right Winger, why Bassey is drafted as a Left Winger and a natural CB replaces him as a cb.

It has nothing to do with the country name but the people or rather her citizens.

Nigerians are naturally dirty and wicked, including the common man in the street, not just the politicians. That's why you would see a Nigerian opens his eyes and dump refurges on the road or in a cutter or drainages and if the government arrest them, they will start shouting Witch hunting

Na for Nairaland, AE lift formation play Ghana for WCQ in Abuja.
Odion Ighalo said He was surprised to see AE change formation few hrs to that crunch formation after they have finalized and perfected the formation they were going to play Ghana with.
Don't be surprised Eric Chelle visits this thread too.

If I'm playing that 4-4-2 formation with a diamond in midfield, I'll do so with slightly different personnel

Nwabali in goal

In defence, Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi start at right-back and left-back respectively. Centre backs will be Ekong and Bassey.

The midfield diamond will comprise: Onyeka at the base in place of Ndidi. Onyeka has bigger lungs, more legs, stamina, marks better, covers more ground and is better with possession and passing.

Iwobi will play in front of Onyeka at the tip of the diamond and behind the front two. It's no brainer cos Iwobi is by far the best passer of the ball in the team. We need him playing as close to the strikers as possible.

Ademola Lookman takes the left and Simon Moses the right tips of the diamond quadrant.

Upfront would be Victor Osimhen and support striker would be Uche Chrisantus. Chrisantus will play as a hybrid support striker and Attacking midfielder with dual roles depending on phases of the games

These players will interpret the roles and formation better.

Make Africa do start their own Nations League so that African players can have more goals playing for their National teams. European players just they stadpad with Nations League matches
Nations league just day make Euro cup more uninteresting. If CAF follow suit AFCON will reduce in prestige

I have watched this sequence over and over again. I keep asking, how does Lookman think that he can score from such position with his left. A quick turn and a back pass to Simon would have set Osihmen up for a blast. Even Chukwueze was there. Iwobi was running in. Surprised Osihmen was just strolling , 😀😃
