What context did you give? That Paul said women should be educated first before preaching? So why didn't Paul say this exactly?

The prevailing thought then was that the Bible was a scientific guide, like you and many Christians believe, so he had to tell her and the church, that they are wrong. And you made that quote justifying the thought that bible is the source of science.
