You sure this our boys want to be at the World Cup . Miss our old generation of players. These guys can’t even come from a goal down to Tie the game let alone win it |

We need to switch to 442 in the second half. This game is a must win |

our midfielders need a little patience |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Diavolo: 5:46pm On Mar 25, 2025 |
humility33:I won't call it abysmal. Just subpar. Putting the players in their best position and going with a simpler formation that they understand will make it a lot better. National teams have barely 4 training sessions in between matches, that's too little time to try to implement something very drastic and complicated. |

Even if we win 3-0 , I am not convinced that Chukueze, Simon and Lookman should play at the same time . The midfield appears lean and hope the Zimbabwe will not capitalize on this . I expected the coach to fortify the midfield. This Zimbabwe may shock Nigeria |

deltafly:There is nothing lean about the midfield here We have been dominating this game from the first minute The boys are just finding it hard to score Hopefully they will in the second half |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 5:50pm On Mar 25, 2025 |
deltafly:How can they capitalize on something they also aren't using |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Philosopher1979: 5:50pm On Mar 25, 2025 |
Diavolo:For now a simple 4 3 3 will be good for our team. Just get three midfielders and three forwards. That way, our midfield will not be lean. |

Too many rushed passes. Lookman and Simon should switch positions. |

Unlimited22:Bro I don't know. Ndidi is not what he used to be for super eagles. He's not doing it at all in that midfield,I think he should be replaced with Onyedika |

So only once that Chuks beats his marker today. Omo!! I know I'm not the only one that want Aina switched to Chuks wing so something can come out of there. Osayi amd Chuks connect is -600 |

Lookman has been inactive in the first half The formation is good, but one or two issues with the player set up, especially Lb and RM |

Nigeria 1-0 Zimbabwe my prediction still stands. This generation of super eagles are not mentally tough enough to grind out |

The crux here is about Simon and Lookman on that wing. There will be a clash of movements. Iwobi and Simon linking better than Lookman and Simon. I want Iwobi to score in this game mehnn. He keeps things easy. That counter by the 27th mins that Simon Moses slowed was annoying. Guy just run up mehn. Chai |

9JAMac10:Grind out means lean scorelines. So what do you mean, they are not mentally tough for high scoring? |

I will be so gutted if the coach doesn't bring in Bruno, take out Osayi and switch Aina to the right. Osayi has been so poor. You can't have the current best RWB in EPL languishing on the left. |
