We need to be winning the games by more than a single goal. What if Zimbabwe equalizes
. I was saying it all along . Our guys are mentally weak. I miss the old guys. We can’t even protect single goal leads and we want to go to the World Cup

After Osihmen injury, I expected a more defensive sub
This coach dey bring in another striker
Aina and lookman are clearly tired, he didn't sub them

End of the road. We didn't play well at all. When you play Osayi as right back, this is what you get

In all sincerity, we are moving on too fast.

We need to know the guys that sat round that table and decided that Finidi George was the best fit to give something as a crucial World cup qualifiers to. Today we only heap blame on FG, but whoever those guys were in the NFF, we need to know their names so we can mark it for having terrible judgement despite the fact that we missed out in 2022. That ought to set a precedent on how fragile the wcq should be taken. That ought to inspire and influence their decision making. But, they decided on FG and now here we are.

Now, if anything sup, they'll probably be the 1st to heap blame on the players when in fact, it is their ineptitude that contributed to all these palava.

Suddenly, their faith in Chelle go kon high as if no be them sabotage this whole process.

They are saboteurs. They should be ashamed of themselves. Yeah we will face front but that will be too easy on them. Such crew should be far away from our football.

Heck they can't even decide a coach for the Super Falcons till now. Smh

Why were we still playing with a two-man midfield even with a goal up?

For 3 main reasons

Ndidi isn't covering up in the middle.

Playing Ola Aina in the left is leaving that much gap

Ekong isn't as fast so Zimbabwe takes advantage
I mentioned here that Ekong was the weak point in our defence. It was very obvious to see.

Sad that things turned out this way.

No VAR is what is killing SE..

Most of the goals the SE have scored have been wrongly ruled offside. if there was VAR the outcome will be different..

Blame the coach. Why bring in another striker instead of a defender?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by etebefia: 6:55pm On Mar 25, 2025
NFF is just about their corrupt selfish interest, nothing concerns them with this team qualifying for the world cup. They went to hire a mediocre coach from Mali who can play their corrupt script.
