Congrats South Africa They deserve it The coach messed up today Your players were getting tired you couldn’t make quick changes. At a point Osimhen was just walking Is it until he collapses Why was Bruno on the bench for so long Ndidi ain’t that good anymore to solely handle the midfield tasks It’s official South African football is now better than Nigerian football We refused to do things on merit, thinking we deserve to be there Smh Superiority Complex inside dust bin Blame NFF chairman and the administrators Why wasn’t Onyeka & Chrisantus Uche invited Corruption finally killed our football Nigerian politicians never change or learn lesson They will do same in 2030 Nothing was transparent, from coach selection to players selection Jay Jay Okocha blasted them months ago |

I don't know how u guys see this but i think this Nigerian team is really useless....basic footballing skills is not possessed by any of the players except maybe osimhen and I dare to say that without osimhen in this team, they will struggle to beat Tahiti or even Somalia... Which kind team be this... No intelligent play, no pattern, nothing. Thunder fire anybody wey dey hope this team go qualify for world cup. Nonsense. All they know how to do is to be doing content with that calister girl and her lesbian partner. Fools |

Cecco90:the NFF does not like the team having more than 2 midfielders.. then the players playing LW and RW are meant to drop to midfield often but they don't.. so the midfield will be lean due to the NFF and do to the players on the pitch not dropping to defend. |

If we don't find a way to hack any team down under 30mins, we are watching time, talent, resources and space. |

Ekong and Ndidi should not be playing for the SE in 2025, it's unfortunate that things had to play out this way |

Tactically, the team is taking shape, especially our defensive tactics. Chelle needs to work harder in his scouting. We need more fluidity in our midfield. They were times we made some wrong choices in the middle. We could be better. |

Chellechukwu messed that one up. He should have brought in Alhassan and Onyedika both to increase our midfield numbers alongside Iwobi and to keep the tempo up in the final third keeping Zim on the backfoot. We bring in Onyedika for Iwobi while leaving an Ndidi on the pitch. Nothing changed much... Still a 2 man midfield and only subbing out an attack minded technically blessed midfielder for a defensive minded technically blessed midfielder. Chelle should have gone to 3 in the middle. Well, we are not going to the World Cup. SA will lose their 3 pts vs Lesotho and we will still not get near them. Shame. Cecco90: |

The guys really tried but this is all on the coach. The starting formation, tactics and personnel choice were wrong. Then also when we finally scored, wrong substitutions, wrong instructions. Osayi, lookman and ndid should have been taking out as they were all exhausted but instead he brought in Boniface to do what exactly, when a more defensive sub and game plan should have been used. Hopefully this is a learning curve for him and he realizes his mistakes and doesn't stubbornly want to keep with this stupid formation,if not we are in for a long ride. World cup dream is officially over,we can move on to other things. |
